Name: Alexander Lothin Wynn Age: 19 Date of Birth: 04/11 Birthplace: Undella Town Gender: Male Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Face Claim: Persona 4 - Yu Narukami Appearance: He has an odd look about him, mostly because of his pigment of hair. An oddly gray that has only been labeled as a mistake in pigmentation during his birth. Matching his odd hair color are his eyes that also share the same stormy gray, a familial trait covered by his black rimmed glasses to mend his poor eyesight. He is a slender young man, with a lack of muscle mass and is on the taller side for his age, measuring in at about 5’ 9”. His casual wear usually consists of a gray button-up shirt along with a black blazer with a checkered collar. During colder weather he wears a black jacket while through the winter months he wears a white heavy jacket to bear through the weather. His lower wear usually is a pair of black slacks with their gray seam visible on their sides, all finished with a pair of black shoes.
Height: 5’10”
Personality: Alex is privileged; He's been waited on hand on foot, has indulged in things more expensive than a person's pay. Knowing this, he still wishes to leave his home, experience many a child's dream of going out into the world with a pokemon, experiencing things only found in fables and returning home with a respected title, known worldwide for his accomplishments. It’s always been his dream, partly due to the fact that it would be something he has to work for and feels he is capable of doing so. As he edges ever closer to adulthood, Alex has become an increasingly driven individual. When there are obstacles in his way he’ll make sure to find a way to get past them to reach his goals in life whether they be familial restraints or a strong opponent, he knows the only thing keeping him from whatever destination he set is himself.
As expected of a young man coming from a wealthy family, Alex is spoiled, though he tries to hide it. He buys the best for himself and for his own. He knows that he’ll be living his life not ever having to seriously commit himself to employment. That everything he could ever ask for is a slide of a card away with funds that he himself never had to earn. As much as he would like to separate himself from his family name, he is quick to using the bonuses of having such a privileged life.
Alex tries to be independent, finding ways to do things on his own and if he can’t, is willing to learn how to get the job done. After being surrounded by those exuding a false sense of pride, he has come to find the company of those from the same social status as an annoyance. Stereotyping them as the sort to compare and contrast their family’s standings to further inflate their heads. He has a hard time in crowds, he is by no means shy, he just has a hard time adjusting from his coddled lifestyle to a populated public space.
He is not one to stand up and challenge authority but, like his life, chooses to silently accept it. Something he has embarked on his journey to overcome. He knows that his life is his own, and that he alone can make the choices in it. After living a life planned by his parents though? It becomes easy to fall back into old lazy habits.
He has always been one more interested in keeping his mind sharp and focused, finding solace in the written works. He has always been known to have books of various genres on his person; whether they are mid-century epics and romantic comedies, or a usual adventure or tale of horror and romance popular with those his age. Books with sparkling fiends on the other hand tend to hit a sour spot in his stomach. In fact, one of what he sees as a redeeming quality is his ability to quote verses poetry of paraphrase meaningful sections of stories that he enjoyed and could relate with that only comes from a love for literature.
Alex has always been a gentleman at heart: Holding himself with pride, holding the door open for those behind him, so on and so forth. He feels that manners always have a place in every situation and that it is his duty to follow them, except when it comes to others giving to him, he has a hard to taking things from people and hates the feeling he gets when he takes something he hasn’t worked for nor deserves. He is a hypocrite in the fact that he loves giving to others. Alex finds it hard saying no to people whenever they ask something of him and is the sort to hide any grievances he has with another, finding solace that his views are safe from the ears of others and not the subject of the day for random gossipers
He has a lot of unnecessary fears, ones he feels will impede his progress as a trainer if he does not get rid of them soon. Primarily of bat Pokemon, caves, mountains, and some poison Pokemon. When confronted by one of his fears Alex has been known to freeze, panicking inside. While when exploring a mountain or cave he's been know to keep a few Pokemon out with him so he doesn't pay as much attention to a dark cavern that might be home to an unknown monster, or being blown off of while exploring outside of a mountain and falling to his certain doom.
Alex is very open, often pursuing friendship. Although he does care for companionship, he still holds a faint suspicion to those around them, and while he has no problems around others, placing his trust into them does take time. To those who do gain his trust, he is very protective, often going out of his way to assure his companion’s well-being.

History: Alex was reared by Martha and Pent Wynn as the first born male heir, and second child to the Wynn family. The traditional family that it is, he was pre destined to inherit their vast wealth and business once he finished his education along with his elder sister. At an early age, the young boy had never paid any mind to it, finding comfort in his loving family and their efforts in trying to associate him with those of the same social order. His parents felt that if he were better acquainted with children of partner families their various business partnerships would last through generations. He wasn’t shy around these children but their interests were always vastly different than young Alex’s. Making his parent’s efforts to forge future powerful business practices fruitless, yet they did find an outlet for him which he excelled in.
Alex has always had a passion for the written works, whatever they may be and in association excelled when it came to school. He had come to obtain a higher vocabulary different from the common children his age. Yet with all this knowledge, when it came to physical outlets, he was more of the sort to stay on the sidelines instead. As Alex began reading on his own, he would occasionally come across amazing tales of trainers rangers, and others associated with pokemon setting out for the open road only supplied with what they could carry and the partner pokemon at their side. He wished he could be like that one day, often dreaming of his own heroic expedition. Setting out on his journey full of grandeur, facing incredible odds, seeing things only thought to exist in legends, and coming back with a title respected by all. After all, every child must leave home at some point, right? At least that was what he heard.
Sadly, the young boy’s dreams were dashed all too fast. His parents regretfully declined his excitement, informing him that he had more important matters here. He would grow to be an amazing student, go to a respected university, and graduate with amazing marks going on to work for the family business. It seemed that his dreams were just that, dreams for him to lay his head to and think fondly of. Only to wake up the next day and continue the life planned out for him by his parents. His parents could see how he tried his best plastering on a smile and continuing his daily routines. Most people around him couldn’t tell the difference in the young boy’s mannerisms. They would try approaching the young boy with new hobbies, even collection of tomes and fables growing ever larger. Sometimes even the house workers would approach, introducing him to the various household tasks that were necessary for the house to run in hopes to cure the boy’s boredom.
To bring the boys bright demeanor back, the business duo made an addition to the manor, a large garden, which they left young Alex in charge of. He was beyond ecstatic, it didn’t take long for the garden to grow life and when it did, it quickly attracted pokemon: often flying, bug, and grass type pokemon. He was always excited when the pokemon would come to the Undella garden, watching the pokemon from the time they arrived until the time they left or went to sleep.
It was clear the young man had found what he needed to distract himself. Every day he would quickly finish his schoolwork, go out to the garden and watch the wild pokemon. Watching them then turned to feeding them, which then turned to him staying in their company. His parents would often tell him that it was dangerous for him to be around the wild pokemon, as they were often unpredictable and could sometimes be quick to anger or worse. He brushed the warning off, thinking it was just his parent’s ignorance giving him the warning. After all, he had never even seen his parents close to pokemon, or even heard stories from his grandparents about them being close to Pokemon.
Years went by with the garden under the careful eye of Alex. The small lot of land growing bigger and bigger as time went on. At this point, Alex had gotten so accustomed to the small population of Pokemon that he would document the Pokemon that came to the plot by their mannerisms and appearance. His small encyclopedia only reached upwards of twenty pokemon but it was a small encyclopedia he was proud of and carried with him wherever he went, hoping to add more Pokemon to it since he lacked a Pokedex.
As he steadily approached young adulthood, plans for him to attend a university were beginning to start. He wasn’t sure if it was his inner child speaking, or if it was his father’s bullheadedness but the young man was beginning to think on his own, in his own way. He told his parents that he wished to see students of a Pokemon Academy, telling them that after tending to the garden for so long he couldn’t very well get rid of his dream. They allowed it, thinking that what they tell them will make him see that their planning was the better route.
He left for a small academy on a nearby island, spending about a week there to interview some of the staff and students. It was there he came to a realization. He noticed something in the people he met there; they all had a certain something that he lacked; A belief that what they were doing was the best for them. An eagerness to explore new territory, face challenging opponents and be out on their own, taking their life into their own capable hands. Courage. Something he realized he lacked in his coddled life. He passed his days in the walls of the manor while his head was stuck in books, looking outside and seeing Pokemon coming upon the shores of Undella while others flew above. When there were people out there who committed themselves to what they wanted to do, not what people planned for them.
He decided it was time he showed some courage of his own. That Alexander Lothin Wynn could make his own choices, make his own mistakes, be his own man. This was his life after all and he would live it how he chose because no one else can live it for him. It was a new way of living, something he wasn’t used to. His parents provided anything and everything for him and he knew he wasn’t going to easily forget that privilege. His eagerness for adventure was something he could not pass up, so he would approach his parents one last time.
He let his parents know about his departure, he could tell they were shocked but now that he was approaching adulthood there wasn't a lot of room left to argue. Nevertheless, he had their reluctant support, he was thankful for that but after his short time away he wanted to make a name for himself, not for the Wynn family so when asked where he would be heading off to, he would only say that it would be “a decent ways away from Unova.” knowing his name would follow him wherever he went.
As he made his way for port he heard a few aspiring trainers talking about an “Aina Region.” Not knowing where else to head for, he bought a ticket for the same region. There was some appeal about exploring the unknown. For a sheltered young man such as himself it wold be best to “jump into the frying pan”. With his mind made up he decided he would make the most of it and take his first step in his journey to take his life in his own hands.

Approved! As much as I'm tempted to be nit-picky and deny you because the class is supposed to be "Battler" and not "Trainer"...eh. I'll let it slide. This time.
