Resorts The beachfront around Kahakai is filled with resorts, from the historical Wailord Village to the massive Grand Kahakai. Staying at any of these is expensive, but well worth the price for the comfort, atmosphere, and activities all of them offer. |

Ground Gym The Grand Kahakai Resort, largest of the city’s resort hotels, also owns the city’s Ground Type gym. You don’t have to be a guest to access the gym, but you do have to go through traps and puzzles built from beach equipment before battling the Gym Leader out on the beach itself. |

Avalanche Ice Cream A large locally-owned ice cream company based in Kahakai City. In addition to the massive selection of flavors, everything from the familiar chocolate and vanilla to flavors based on local fruits and coffee, the company's main building has several walk-in freezers. Trainers and customers should be cautious, however, as wild Pokemon have moved into the unused freezers. |

Contest Hall A stadium owned by the Grand Kahakai Resort. Contests are occasionally held here. However, they are usually run by visitors from Hoenn or Sinnoh, as the Aina Region does not currently have its own contest system. |
