A winery dating back hundreds of years. Though technology has advanced over the years, the winery still holds to many of its old traditions. For younger patrons, it also serves as a Juice Shop that can mix the many berries growing in the region into juices for Pokemon.

Possibly the reason for the number of Poison Types in the area, the gym was originally part of the Winery before contamination concerns forced the leader to move to his own building. The interior retains the gym’s original design, with a maze of wine casks and distillation equipment separating challengers from the Gym Leader.

After the dense rainforest of the Hapuu Highway, and the rough unpaved roads of A'a Trail, Hala City can seem like the first sign of being back in civilization. Access to Kohola Bay, the Aina Winery, and of course the Poison Gym put the city on the map.
