Personality: 

Courageous: Dylan is an extremely brave young man. Perhaps, a little too courageous for his well being. He has obtained the ability to face his deepest fears despite all the given obstacles. Of course, it wasn't an easy task for him to overcome his fears, but he was more than determined to strive forward, ignoring the cold chills rushing down his bones and the fear striking at his heart. Unfortunately, his true bravery can come across as pure recklessness.  He would risk his own life to save his loved ones.. 

Narcissistic: Dylan appears to be overly confident. He has tendencies to display a sense of overbearing self-worth and self importance. In fact, he believes that he his Arceus' gift to the world. Especially toward beautiful women and handsome men. Although he doesn't try to be a jackass at all times, he often be littles others to make himself feel better. Surprisingly, he is slightly blinded by his own arrogance. Therefore, he is not aware of his own behavior.

Humorous: Ryan is quite hilarious. He often does silly things like funny dances and gestures to make others around him laugh. He enjoys saying things that are funny, but also rather clever. He is a true prankster at heart. He loves playing practical jokes on people. Practical jokes that often leave people feeling upset or scared for a short period of time.Due to his humorous behavior, he can sometime come across as being immature. 

Nonchalant: Ryan can be very cool, calm, and collected most of the time. He has a carefree attitude toward most things in life. He is a young man without too much of a worry in the world. However, there are a few things that he can be passionate toward such as almost anything related to Pokemon, water, sports, or exploring.

History: 

Dylan was born and raised within a city located off of the eastern mainland of Hoenn. The mystical city of Sootopolis. A city that is located deep inside of a crater formed by a massive volcano from many years ago. Dylan was born into an upper, middle class family. His mother worked as a Pokemon nurse and his father worked as a researcher in the city. Unfortunately, due to his parents' incredible careers; Ryan wasn't able to send a lot of time with them. However, the young male did have a caring aunt and uncle to help raise him. Dylan's aunt work as a protector of the Cave of Origin and his uncle worked as a gym trainer at the local gym. He often spent half of his time hanging around the Cave of Origin with his aunt as she educated him with the city's rich history. Other times, he would watch his uncle battle against other trainers visiting the gym. When his uncle wasn't busy battling at the gym, he would teach Dylan about raising and training Pokemon for battles. Dylan quickly started to grow interested in Pokemon and Pokemon battles from then on.

After aging a bit more and while attending school, Dylan's curiosity to learn more about Pokemon started to increase even more than before. In fact, dreams of becoming a successful water Pokemon trainer quickly started to clash with his academic achievements. Instead of learning to use new formulas to solve problems in his math class or reading over his notes for history class, Dylan would doodle pictures of Pokemon, read books about Pokemon and day dream about someday becoming a Water Pokemon Master. His teachers soon grew tired of his nonchalant attitude about not wanting to learn anything outside of the Pokemon world as well as his role of being the class clown of the class and constantly disrupting class. It wasn't long before his own parents grew weary of his behavior and decided to home school him. Sadly, his parents attempt proven to be a fail as well. His parents soon stopped fighting their son's urges to learn more about Pokemon. They finally embraced his determination and allowed him to study beside him. His mother taught him many techniques used to heal various Pokemon and his father allowed him to travel with him around the world to research different types of Pokemon. Soon enough, Dylan grew tried of working along side with his parents and begged them to let him start on his own journey.

Luckily for Dylan, his uncle was able to persuade Dylan's parents to enroll him into a famous Pokemon Academy, located within the Aina Region. His parents believe that he should successfully complete the Pokemon Academy first before starting his true journey as a Pokemon Trainer. Now that Dylan has completed the Pokemon Academy, he is about to start his very own journey of becoming a Water Pokemon Master.
