Once again Alex found himself at Orchard Way. During his last venture he hadn't me much distance as he found himself in a marsh like section that was the former home of his newest party member Shin. The Croagunk was an especially welcomed member as he gave Alex some insight on his next target gym. The Poison type would be especially useful in dispatching grass type Pokémon, all he would need is a little training and mastery of his skills to make him an invaluable member to his next gym attempt. Although he had a goal in mind he still felt the need to further explore the area, as well as give Eos so more battle training. She had done tremendously well in defeating Shin in their travel prior, but he needed her to become stronger. Thankfully Jeanne was a key example on how to do so. Practice, battle, training, and rest. Those were the keys to performing evolution, and if that would bring out the strength he knew his Pokémon were capable of then it was his duty to help them achieve that level. "Alright, let's get started. " With a goal in mind Alex proceeded down the trail in search of a wild Pokémon.

It didn't take long for the wandering trainer to arrive back at the same area he stopped in his exploration prior. The area, once muddy and marsh-like, had dried up considerably, the path to the winery now completely visible."Was the cause of all the water Shin's doing?" he pondered. No, that couldn't be, Shin was a Poison and Fighting type. He had no affiliation with water, he just preferred area's with moisture so that his skin would not dry. He would have to come and inspect the area later, places like this don't have some sort of drainage so that water could leave so suddenly. No, there was other forces at work here. Overhead, a Pokemon hung in the trees. It looked frail, far too frail for it to provide any purpose in Alex's party and unlike Eos who housed tremendous Psychic powers, this one seemed to hide away instead. Shaking his head, Alex moved along the path for something more useful to his goal. |

It didn't take long for Alex to come upon yet another Pokemon. This Pokemon was using its rather imposing horn to scare a small group of the Pokemon he met just a bit ago from a berry bush. It didn't take much convincing from the blue Pokemon to get the others to leave and with it victorious, began to eat the colorful fruit. "You are a territorial one aren't you?" Alex commented, clearly not pleased by what he witnessed. It reminded him of the mother Manectric who was in no shape to fight off a rival Electrike. Who knew what those Pokemon were going through? Alex quickly took out his Pokedex to examine the Pokemon.
The Karrablast set its eyes on Alex, moving away from the bush and flaunting it's large horn. Apparently it saw him as another challenger for the fruit bearing tree. "Very well then, we'll be your next opponent." Though he had no need for more berries at the moment, he wouldn't deny that he intended to capture the Karrablast in front of him. He knew that it was strong enough to scare away a group of small Pokemon, all he needed to knoww now was if it's bravado proved true.
"Alright Eos, to the field!" Alex called, tossing the mechanical ball into the air. The Ralts appeared from the baal, gracefully touching down on the ground. Sensing the tense atmosphere of the situation, her psychic energy began to manifest around her, surrounding her in a violet hue. "Alright Eos, begin with Psychic." Alex ordered. The Ralts began charging the energy around her into a violet sphere in front of her. When the energy was large enough in size, she shot it at her opponent, kncoking the bug Pokemon down. When the Karrablast got up, traces of Eos' energy could still be sen on it's shell. A sign that the Karrablast's special defenses have been lowered.
The Karrablast wasted no time going on the offensive. Taking it's large horn, the Pokemon slashed at it's opponent with the impressive growth. Eos reeled back in pain, the lean Pokemon wasn't built for taking attacks of, well, any kind. Her power's were still growing so she hasn't developed an impressive speecial defense and she was far too small to have any physical defenses. Though they would work at that, one thing was for sure. Eos was more that enough to take down this Karrablast.
"Alright Eos, use Psychic once more!" Alex ordered. The Feeling Pokemon once again repeat the attack, the large ball of energy pulsed its way towards the already weakened Karrablast, this time knocking it out cold. Alex crouched to the Ralt's level, praising it for a job well done. Afterwards, he took out an empty Pokeball and tossed it at the defeated Pokemon.
