DEWEY - I NOUE
26 - ♀- bi-curious - 6/20
Character details
Ain't no party in a sad, sad city
face in the mirror
Takes alot after her older sister, their faces are extremely similar. To the point where they might be considered twins even between the age difference. Her clumsy blonde cascade, fair complexion, and somewhat of a permanently relaxed expression became the signature signs. Dewey was always sort of treated like she was special... like she was "perfect" throughout her life. Just because she mirrors her sister does not entirely mean their exactly alike. She is gentle, kind, generally the type of person anyone can get along with. Agreeable person, uh, is it wrong to say that this damsel is not entirely just a ball of sunshine? She doesn't discriminate (capable of tho), she doesn't judge (depending on her cup of tea today) and is really the type of person that can have a civilized conversation with someone who hates her guts or some psychopath like they are just another person.
As far as appearance goes, Dewey is absolutely attractive to those who know less about her. Most have stated she looks older than she actually is much to her benefit and disadvantage sometimes. She is rather tall, standing at 5’7” which she constantly states is so that she can look down on others, and she weighs 110 lbs. She doesn't have any distinctive marks worth writing home about. However, taking a look on the inside of what she's faced so far could make one tremble in disbelief.

Streaming Personality
Dewey is a rather picturesque damsel, always having a sweet and unreadable smile imprinted on her face. She talks in such a soft and alluring tone but her words may spit out sharp and piercing. Although she has that aura of superiority, she knows when to show gratitude when someone has done a favor for her. She knows when to be kind—but she also knows when to show no mercy. This changes, however, when the matter is about close relationships as she can be quite possessive and over-protective about her treasures. To her, they are the most important possession she has.
Normally, very 'chirpy', cordial and seemingly flighty except she is slightly pessimistic. She tries to seem optimistic and very inviting, but in reality she has abandonment issues. She still holds on to that incredibly distrusting trait, but if she takes a liking to a person, she'll make the effort to get to know them better. Her loyalty is very difficult to come by. Though she does her best to keep herself from getting too clingy, when she gets attached, she finds it harder and harder to do; sometimes she accidentally slips her true self out. Dewey is rather one rowdy, athletic, and boisterous young woman with a penchant for mischief, promiscuity, and perversion. She surprisingly likes to take risks and often chooses daring methods for the sake of a fun challenge. Having sharper instinct causes her to rely on it more than she relies on her brain which is proven to be much more ...accurate. Known for her laid-back approach to life. The straightforward, rough, and foolish attitude may give off a wild type vibe. Which attracts attention. She always tries to find enjoyment in whatever she does and seems to be well-loved by luck.
Though relatively friendly and flippant, she can be rather sarcastic, and as she posses a short temper, it is relatively easy to set her into a sulk. She is also a very..very playful individual. She loves teasing others as a form of fondness, sometimes pulling a harmless prank just to see their reactions. She is aware that her actions might make some people uncomfortable but most of the time she just can't help it and might need someone to tell her to stop.
Behind that steely fortress of rather fake optimism is her self-conscious, causing her to fall into a crest-fallen category. Since the day of her arrival to Aina, Dewey's personality gained a a lot of mysterious quirks. She was always the stubborn and determined type, and very ambitious in her academics, because she strived to become successful like her older sister who was serving in the police force also. Those traits carried over to how she acts with others. She is very persistent with other's ideas and doesn't like it when other people try to convince her of something otherwise (she hates admitting that she's wrong). She is also usually suspicious of meeting new people and won't give them her respect until they've gained her trust or has that obvious aura of hardly being a threat.
She believes that most people have a naturally jealous heart, so she avoids situations where jealousy could be a problem, in fear of recreating the incident with her old squadrons. However, when removed, she listens to everything that is said and will try to draw a conclusion on her own. This does not help her unhealthy suspicion about her surroundings that may sometimes be compared to paranoia. Despite this, she can have somewhat of a calm demeanor at times.
Overall, she feels the need to fit into a stereotype, so she does her best to act the part of a jolly lass, who in reality pretty cocky and arrogant. That carefree spirit who does whatever she likes, whenever she feels like it almost like a free person. Dislikes being restricted, as cunning as a zorua they say, but she is good with words and very often finds 101 ways to get herself what she wants or out of the situation. A lass who lies with a straight face. Lying comes naturally to her, so its difficult to know if she is telling the truth or not. She can be honest, its just hard to tell when she is being honest. Finally, for the main course, enjoys hearing good praises or sometimes rumors involving her, feels proud. However, equipped with a rather weakness of childish humor that has her void through awkward sentences, somewhat prone to have her moments when she's almost emotionally withdrawn, breaking the illusion that she tries so hard to keep up.
She is imprisoned for so long in a jester suit that she hardly remembers what she really is anymore. In truth, she can be dishonest, and rather selfish when it comes to important matters. In front of strangers, Dewey tends to say what she thinks others would like to hear, rather than vocalize her own thoughts; the consequences of speaking one's mind have tripped her up one too many times, so she prefers to play it safe and keep her true thoughts hidden, well, for now.

Name's a history
Oh, dear. It happened again, ya blew it. Your mother nowhere in sight. Packed her luggages and never dared to look back when her doors closed on you. All you get to hear in your dreams are creaking doors rather than that lovely voice. Thus, you've gained a notion to never trust beautiful people. And then there's your father. A professor, trying his best with his research even if it's damaging his abilities to spend time with you. Next are you 'relatives', the ones who poked fun at you because you never spoken a single word about your background so far. The ones who tested sticks and stones, broke your childish knowledge. Finally, your older sister, your idol. The only one that could understand the hardships of not knowing a single thing. Innocence was not considered immature for this individual. She'd thrash you about and often pinch at the bridge of your nose to reconstruct expressions that were never meant to be shown. A creature of grace and refinement, she gave off the same imperious air whether leaving home in a dress suit or lounging in sweats. A professional at the game of tag, which soon escalated into her future career as a member of the police force. Gosh, she was radical…you both were never fed with a silver spoon but you were indeed happy.
You’re in the first grade, and you despise your uniform.
You’ve been pushed into the mud, abandoned at play, had you hair stuck in tree branches. And every game you thought was purposed to ruin your clothing. There was no freedom when adults expected so much from you just by wearing a specific garment to indicate your worth. Expensive things served as your medication to feel good about yourself. Beauty was a main purpose for a lady, though when we fear it's not there, we panic. You sat at each corner of the room leaning to the side of the wall at recess so your weight will not topple to the ground of the room. You have heavy thoughts imprinted in your head that you can't even think about crying when your parents leave you at your first day of school. Your tough, valiant, even had a sharp tongue. You'd fight back, you'd conquer those bullies, and in the end stand untouchable. But, your lonely. Who was better to support you, the people who feared your success or that one parent who still loved you as a loser. Ha, you'd always think it's cringeworthy because you never expected it to be so alluring. You idled your own ideals, thought of nothing else but yourself. You'd tuck your hands in your pocket and walk away. Besides the trophies you've won, you never would gain that relationship. A beaten truth that makes you feel that you haven't finished what you ever started.

You’re in the fifth grade, and you start to realize you feel quite dumb.
Your grades are crazy low in math and english. Well, mostly because your surrounded by math conversations from your dad and english was never your dominant language. So, you spoke in slang. Of course you never could get any help from home nor from the teachers because you were 'wary of strangers'. So, you took up the courage to find a friend. It was a pointless thing to follow you around all day and try to continue conversations with so you could boost your importance of being kept as a friend. Ugh, worthless, no? But, what could she do? Boys, were the worst. So, girls? You catch a transfer students attention. She just moved to Alto Mare and was half italian and japanese also. Thisbe, was a quiet girl who was very petite and was stuck in a wheel chair throughout her entire life. Born sickly, however, adored pokemon and studied them making her one heck of a smarty pants. Her attractive smilie made you almost jealous that there was someone in the world who could be so joyous. You've assisted her throughout your days. People would eye-ball you thinking you were some delinquent forced to be partnered with an innocent damsel of the school. However, you made things work out. In the end you got to hold hands with someone, chat long hours with, stand-up for, even…possibly…found your first love.

You’re in the eighth grade, and for now, life is where you want it.
Two years ago, you tried out for every sport and stood on top of your studies.
You found your first love and became a popular talk amongst the schools. Ah, it's great. You ran away from home…what. Escaped at 3:02 am and tried to take a train station to Aina Region. After everything you've done, you still wanted to see your sister. How selfish, how stupid. A sibling who was already somewhere in life while there was you who had nothing yet. You only scratched the surface. So, why did you throw everything aside?
Because, how can you believe that she just disappeared when she was invincible. Yes, your sister never returned from an investigation. Her partner also went missing. Useless, you wanted to find her yourself. She'll come back once she finds out your at the region, you'll see her, she'll see you. Reunited, trouble-makers.
Until stopped by Thisbe, battling through tears as she finally found you just in the nick of time. No wheelchair, just outstretched arms yearning for a your return. She collapsed…and it's all your fault. She remains at the hospital, she was suppose to be applying to be a contester. Now, she remains at her bed thinking 'what went wrong' when it's supposed to be you. In guilt, you remained at the hospital for the longest. Often skipped school and smuggled sweets to give to her. But, you felt that she wouldn't take them and ended up retreating from your apologizes. And limbo thus repeats for you.

You get used to the new school quickly enough. Your applying for a police officer to follow your sister's footsteps. Damaged and practically starving yourself, hunger bothering you due to the fact that your starting at square one. A manetric stands by your side rather than a human girl. She was your partner now, and you've investigated the region of Aina. After 4 years later, Marika had gone missing and was pronounced dead after so many years passed after that. Your appointed as a captain, this was your rink, the east was your home and you wanted to continue to defend it with pride. So, your commissioner gave you a growlithe, son of his own arcanine. With your brilliance and tactless attitude you strived to make-up what you've hurt in the past.

LESLIE [Adamant]…"After the disappearance of my old partner, Marika, a lot took the turn for the worse. Leslie was an all time savior. The old commissioner knew we'd make a good match. However, due to his blooming adamant nature (which he picked up from mainly myself) we only become two-peas in a pod if we are hooked on diehard recklessness."
DORIS [Calm]…"She's been around, hovering about and never hurries at any situation. Given to me at a daycare, the elderly couple said that her last trainer never returned for her. Neglected, I couldn't leave her. Steady, focused, and especially conquers the world with a brisk charm."
TOUGHGUY [Jolly]…"Yeesh, this young-blood, just awful. Ah-ha, just kidding! I've had him around for the longest so far. Since the day he hatched he's been a hail-fellow-well-met sidekick and always was supportive to my career. Utterly adorable and I still treat him as if he was elekid just this time more reliable."
MANDARIN [Serious]…"A group of dragonairs were found smuggled by fake rangers. When I investigated I was too late…they were gone. Until I found a survivor did I gain some hope. Badly injured, thankfully became healthy after a few months. Darin and I usually argue over little things. He's not one to take things lightly especially when it comes to my actions. He prefers to get the job done the quickest way out. Although he can be a killjoy he is a great companion during quiet hours."
MARGO [Impish]…"Naturally found me everywhere. Soon I took the courage to take her under my wing. Utterly roguish, a very difficult pokemon to get through, since she just evolved it's been difficult to adjust with her rather clownish personality in a heavy armor. Good out of battle but worries me so during serious matters."
GUENIÈVRE [Timid]… "I received Guen during a mission. I wouldn't say as a reward, just by fate we met since the officer quit his job. The anniversary when my sister went missing. Delicate and absolutely quiet. She reminds me of her as a child so I'm rather proud of her nature. We make things possible and work out the way we want too. I never try to change her, all I must do is encourage her."
