The Ridge Trail leading towards the Olala Ranch was long and rough journey. In fact, the journey was slightly more challenging that Dylan expected it to be due to it’s rocky and hilly terrain. The blinding and scorching sunlight was a bit overwhelming too at first, and there were a couple of tough trainers along the way. He understood why majority of the visitors choose to avoid the difficult path. Truth be told, he probably would have avoided exploring the path too, until he felt that his team would have been a little more prepare for the long journey. However, he was given a small task and he was more than determined to fulfill that task. Luckily, Dylan and his team managed to overcome all of those obstacles without too much of an issue to his surprise.
“It was a long and challenging journey, but we finally made it here, huh Morris?” Dylan smirked, glancing over at the Froakie hanging from his left shoulder. The Froakie let out a small croak before flashing his trainer a small smile. “There’s suppose to be another trainer here to help us with this little mission, but I don’t see anyone else standing around here. We will give this trainer a few more minutes to make it. If he or she doesn’t show up soon then we’ll just take care of everything ourselves.” He stated, shoving his hands into his pockets as he glanced over at the entrance of the ranch. He wonder what type of dangerous would be awaiting them, once inside of the wide open ranch. Dylan was an impatient young male and he often preferred to work alone. He was confident that he could pull his own weight. Therefore, if this other trainer didn’t show up soon, then he wouldn’t waste anytime running into the ranch by himself with his Pokemon.

Seria had decided this time to take the Ridge Trail going to the Olala Ranch on the recommendation of her father's friend who had suggested that it would be a good idea to take on certain tasks that would help her to learn a bit more about how to handle herself and how to handle working with other trainers to reach a common goal. The sunlight was something she was accustomed to already and she was given instructions on how to get there with relative ease, the path of least resistance, so to speak. Compared to who she would meet at the Ranch, she had much less trouble. Eventually, she made it to the ranch and saw a young boy... or man, Seria couldn't tell how old he was - with fancy hair, and he had a Froakie with him, a blue frog Pokemon. Seria nodded and approached him. "Sorry for my lateness. I had forgotten to bring water in my pack so I had to go back to get it, but I am here now. I'll do my best to help you and I certainly hope I won't get in your way." Seria said politely. "By the way, my name is Seria Floria. I hope to be of use to you in our task."
She hoped that she could pull her own weight, as her own Pokemon were not exactly the strongest. But she would most certainly do her best.

You set out on your quest to find a special Azurill. Despite Ranch Hand Beverly's claims that you won't miss it, Olala Ranch is big enough for it to get lost, so you have a lot of options for where to start looking. Ridge Trail runs straight through the ranch, dividing it into one half that runs right up to the Western Mountains and one half that runs right up to the north shore, with pastures in between. Where do you want to start first?

"Alright Morris. I am done waiting for this trainer to arrive. We have been waiting here along enough. It's time to find this Azurill and get back to on daily schedule in catching Pokemon and training." He stated glancing over at the small Froakie still hung from his shoulder. However, before the blue-haired trainer could make one step, he would a hear a gentle voice ringing though his ear. Turning his body around, he would notice a fairly attractive young female approach him with a sweet demeanor. "Luckily, you arrived right on time. We were just about to start this search without." He spoke with a straight face. He would listen to the young female explain herself before nodding his head at her. "Hello Seria. I am Dylan." He introduced himself, finally giving her somewhat of a friendly smile. Unfortunately, that smile wouldn't last too long against his lips. "I hope that you won't get my way either. I would like to think that since you signed up for this mission then you would know of the possible dangers that may await us up ahead and come to this ranch ready to challenge anything." He spoke in a calm manner, even though his words probably were a bit rough around the edges. "Needless to say, if you find yourself struggling to hold in your own ground then I will step in and cover for you, too." He informed her with a soft sigh.. He knew that his Pokemon Team wasn't the closet to being the strongest team in this region, yet he was confident in their ability and their strong bond. Therefore, he believed it those things would allow them to overcome any challenge.
"Now, since we're done with the introduction right now. Let's be on our way." He suggested, taking the first few steps towards their new adventure. "According to Ranch Hand Beverly, we shouldn't have too much of an issues identifying this special Azurill. The true challenge should probably be were we should search at first. This ranch is extremely massive and it could take us a while to cover all the ground. There's a chance that we may even find ourselves getting lost, if we're not too careful. If I am not mistaken, the ranch is somewhat connected to the mountain side and shore side. Of course, there's also the various pastures covering this place. Azurill is a normal/fairy type. It would make sense that it may have wander off towards the mountain side." He spoke as he attempted to figure out where the two of them should start searching at first. He knew that the mountain side were known to have a Misty Terrain effect around them. "Although, Azurill are also known to hang around water, too. Therefore, it's possible that the shore side would also be a good spot to search first." He added, turning his attention towards Seria. "Where do you think that we should search first?" He asked, giving her an opportunity to lead the way for a bit.

The guy introduced himself as Dylan, though when he finally gave a smile Seria got the feeling he wouldn't be exactly the easiest to work with. He said that he had hoped Seria would not get in his way, though he'd try to help if he thought Seria was struggling. Now while Seria knew she had to train to get stronger, she didn't like the condescending tone this boy brought forth. It intimidated Seria a little bit. He had even admitted to going on ahead and leaving Seria behind altogether. It wasn't a very pleasant first impressions. He then explained, while taking some steps forward, that there wouldn't be much issue identifying the special Azurill. Right, the task was to look for a missing Azurill. He said that it would be difficult to find a good place to start, and there's a chance that they could get lost if they didn't take good care of their bearings. Seria knew this, of course, having an orienteering background, but there was no way Dylan would know, and Seria didn't want to be the first to know what would happen if she said she knew.
"Well, I agree, I was going to suggest that we search the shore side, but it seems you already are on top of things" Seria simply said. She would follow Dylan for now, but the way he seemed to move suggested he wanted to give Seria a chance to go first. "So let's go to the shore side first. We won't get lost. Don't worry. I got this."

You choose to head down towards the shore, which turned out to be a very good decision because you find, surprise surprise, a green Azurill frantically bouncing away from a pair of larger and stronger Pokemon. It seems to be having trouble gaining ground though, constantly stumbling over its own ball tail as though trying to run on it as well as bouncing. You should probably get in there and help. A pleasing smirk curved Dylan's lips as he noticed a new found confidence with Seria, once she took his suggestion to lead them on their mission for a little while. One of the reasons why he appeared to have been a little hard on the female trainer was because she appeared to have had a lack of confidence and he truly disliked it when other people lacked confidence. "That's more like it." He spoke in a warmer voice as he started to trail in behind Seria with his keen azure eyes studying their surroundings. While roaming towards the shoreline, the duo quickly noticed a unique green Azurill bouncing away from a couple of stronger Pokemon. Unfortunately, the Azurill seemed to have been having a bit of trouble fleeing away from the Wild Pokemon due to its oversized tail. "Nice job Seria. That's definitely the Azurill that we're looking for right now. We have to hurry up and help it and return it back to the ranch." He added, pulling a red and white sphere from around his waist. He would allow his sharp eyes to stare towards the two Wild Pokemon for a few seconds, debating on with of the two he should focus on defeating first. "Humphrey, I need your help!" He shouted, tossing the Poke Ball onto the ground and releasing his dopey looking Water Pokemon. The Slowpoke simply yawned and blinked at the two Wild Pokemon standing before him. "We're take care of that Oddish and you focus on the Lillipup." He said to Seria, giving her a small smirk.
"Humphrey, use Confusion!" The Slowpoke would let out another soft yawn before focusing his mind on the stored psychic powers within his pink body. A few seconds later, the Slowpoke's dopey eyes widen and glowed a deep blue hue before unleashing a powerful blast of psychic energy towards the Oddish. The Oddish was swiftly knocked back by the Super Effective attack. After during the Confusion, the Oddish would shake off the attack and attempted to use Moonlight to recover from some of the damage. Luckily, it wasn't nighttime. Therefore, it was not able to restore too much of its health back. "Give it another Confusion!" The blue-haired trainer commanded with a smirk. The Slowpoke was able to move a little quicker this time, seeing that his psychic powers had previously awoken. Another powerful blast jetted towards the Oddish, knocking it back down again. The Oddish slowly recovered back onto its tiny feet, panting heavily. The Oddish would muster up just enough strength to fire an Acid, which caused Humphrey to let out a small cry. Thankfully, the attack wasn't too effective. Although, the burning of the Acid itself didn't take too well to the Slowpoke's body. "Finish with another Confusion!" The Slowpoke released his last Confusion, knocking the Oddish back down onto the ground and this time knocking it out cold.
"Great job Humphrey, return!" He recalled his Pokemon back into his Poke Ball then focused his attention towards Seria and her battle. He would be on stand by incase he had to jump in to help her out. Hopefully, she would be able to manage taking out her foe with too much of an issue. He truly wanted to see her succeed, despite the harsh words that he spoke to her earlier.
Dylan sent out Slowpoke. Slowpoke used Confusion. Oddish used Moonlight. Slowpoke used Confusion. Oddish used Acid. Slowpoke used Confusion. Oddish fainted.

Well, as if it wasn't a surprise to begin with, there was an Azurill bouncing away from a pair of rogue Pokemon - a little dog Pokemon which appeared to be a Lillipup and an Oddish. The Azurill was green in color which suggested to Seria that it was kind of a shiny Pokemon, something her parents occasionally talked about over the dinner table back at home. Seria saw the look on Dylan's face. He seemed to be more pleased with the situation. Seria figured it was because she showed she could have a grip on this situation and not crack under the pressure. Soon the boy told Seria that they should make haste and help out the Azurill so they could return him... her? Back to the ranch. Dylan sent out his Pokemon, a Slowpoke, before telling Seria he would take care of the Oddish. This left Seria to deal with the Lillipup. The faux-blonde nodded resolutely and pulled out her Pokeball. "Your time to go, Elysium!" Seria called out as her Deerling popped out of the Pokeball. Lillipup was a normal type, so Deerling's powerful Jump Kick should theoretically make short work of the dog.
The dog faced off against the doe and immediately opened by working itself up; becoming more ferocious and increasing the intensity of its next attacks. "Elysium, use your Jump Kick!" Seria called out as the deer lunged forward and drove into the dog with her hooves, colliding into it with a loud sound. The Lillipup was flung back a distance into the sands of the beach, though he collected himself and resolved for a counter attack. It charged back and bit right into Elysium's body, causing the Deerling to lurch back and shake the dog Pokemon off of her. Wincing, Seria clenched her fist. "You can do it! Just one more Jump Kick to seal the deal!" Elysium was pretty mad it seemed, she trotted causing sand to fly about around her as she galloped forth despite her bite wound and leapt into the air, colliding hooves to face, which made the Lillipup get buried into the sand.
He wasn't getting up anymore. Seria went over to Elysium, giving her a gentle hug before returning her into her Pokeball.
"Let's check on the Azurill."
