Well...it was time to go back to the gravesite where there seemed to be a lot of ghosts that were hanging around, almost as if they were doomed to wander the earth. Luke seemed to be aware of their presence, but he got distracted by a gravestone. The Inkay seemed to be rather curious of the inscription on the tombstone which indicated that a Pokemon died a long time ago. It was kind of sad, really but that was how death worked in this world in general. She had been there when there was a mission that she had completed, but it was such a sad place. She looked at the grave where there was a Pokemon that recently died and it kind of reminded her of Mt. Pyre from Hoenn. The atmosphere was a sad one, albeit the graveyard was where the spirits of dead Pokemon would rest in peace.

A Deerling seemed to minding his own business among the graves and he turned his attention on the duo, staring back at them as if to look at the strange people that came to the graveyard. She had contemplated catching it, but she did have a Skiddo who had good coverage moves as well, so this little guy was out of the question. He was pretty cute though, so there would be a time when she will catch a Deerling, but not today. Luke seemed to be curious of the deer and he had never seen a Deerling before. Nonetheless, the deer saw that she wasn't interested and trotted away to look at the other graves, leaving them alone for once. It was rather strange for such a happy Pokemon to be in a sad place like this too.

Pretty soon, a lone Rufflet had flown on a gravestone and it actually reminded her of that one mission where a bunch of agitated Rufflets had attacked her and Maria. This one seemed to be staring at her and Luke intently as if he wanted a battle. His eyes narrowed to the Inkay and he squawked at him while the Inkay nodded with a fierce look on his eyes which had told her that Luke had accepted the Rufflet's challenge.

"Luke, let's start with Superpower!" The Inkay flexed his tentacles and then picked up the Rufflet, throwing the bird on the ground. The Rufflet squawked in pain before regaining his composure and instead of the Inkay's Attack and Defense dropping, it increased instead. The bird picked up the Inkay with his talons and then tossed the Inkay down onto the ground where Luke gave out a pained cry. "Now let's use Rock Slide!" The Inkay somehow made rocks cascade down to the Rufflet, making the bird squawk in pain.

The Rufflet slashed the Inkay with his talons and the Inkay did not like the multiple lacerations that the Rufflet had given him. "Finish him off with Rock Slide!" The angry Inkay was more than happy to rain down rocks on the opposing Rufflet, causing the bird to fall down onto the ground unconscious. She threw an empty Pokeball in an attempt to catch the bird.
