Appearance: Kaitlyn is a very pale girl with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. She wears shorts, a lavender t shirt with mewtwo' face outlined in black on it, and a dark green hoodie with the wings of freedom on the back. She has glasses and wears a pair of headphones nearly 24/7. She has a large scar on the left side of her face.

Personality: Kaitlyn in a very kind person when it comes to pokemon, especially those who are hurt. Her motto is to care for others, for they might become your allies. She refuses to let others dictate who she is, and is not afraid to get down and dirty when training. She believes that a good team has both a strong gainer and strong pokemon, so she involves herself in training. She doesn't like putting her pokemon in pokeballs unless they ask by tapping on the pokeball. She is quite headstrong and refuses to give up, no matter how many times she fails. She has a short fuse and will yell at people who annoy her. She also charges into things without a plan, so she doesn't normally win the first time around. She can think on her feet, and has a near photographic memory when it comes to pokemon. She can't wait to capture a legendary, and has made a vow to capture Mewtwo, no matter how long it takes or how impossible the task is.

History: Born in the Orange Island to Unovian parents, Kaitlyn comes from a mixed background. When she was four months old, she moved to Orre and lived there for most of her life. When she was three, she inhaled a quarter and nearly died, and was hospitalized for quite a while. She has always been the smartest one out of her three sisters, and decided to at least start high school before becoming a pokemon trainer like her aunt. She had always been teased by her classmates for being a bit different than everyone else. She has had a multitude of problems stemming from her month premature birth. By the time she was four, she was put on medicine for sever ADHD, and was hospitalized by the age of twelve due to attempts at suicide. Right after she was released from the hospital, her family moved to the Aina region where she finished four years of school before deciding to become a trainer.
About a month before she finished up her final year, she met a Riolu. She was walking home when she heard the pained cry of a pokemon and the laugh of someone. Deciding to investigate, she found the Riolu tied up with bruises all over. Kaitlyn couldn't stand this so she went up to the man and told him off. The man then pulled a knife out and made a deep cut in the Aura's cheek. Outraged, she attacked the man, and he eventually decided that it wasn't worth the fight so he left. She cut the ropes on the pokemon and raced her to a pokemon center. When they told her that the cut would scar, Kaitlyn took the knife and made a cut just like the one on Riolu's face. She realeased it later, and wishes to at least meet her again, even if she doesn't catch it.
The day she turned Sixteen, she received her first pokemon despite not being a trainer yet. Her aunt had gotten her one of her favorite pokemon, and the only one that was easily obtained. The second she opened the ball, she knew she had a friend for like. Out of the pokeball popped a female Pikachu with a bright red ribbon around its neck. It took a while for the Pikachu to acknowledge the girl, and even longer for her to actually like Kaitlyn, but the two were meant for each other. After both of them got tired of calling Pikachu Pikachu, they decided upon a nickname. Kaminari, or Kami as she likes to be called, was decided upon and the two have bonded since.
