With his newly acquired Berry Pouch, Alex decided to try his hand at picking berries. When he heard of a grove to do so he was only expecting an innocent, family run farm where one would find a gentle elder handing out berries to the public so that they may plant them around the world. He wasn't expecting bushes upon bushes of berries. Their bright and vibrant colors the first thing anyone would see as they entered the field. He was in awe, it was a wonderful sight; sadly he had no time to gawk. "Well then Time to get to business." With his pouch in hand Alex went to random bushes and plucked only what he needed.

Once again with his berry pouch in hand, Alex approached the berry groves. He had a surprisingly interesting haul the last time, although 3 of the berries didn't have any value in battle. . . I guess that isn't as good of a haul as you'd think. Although Mordio and Eos did find the berries to be tasty since they decided to sneak into his bag to dine on the fragrant snacks. It was quite a sight seeing the two that way. Berry juices all over their face as Mordio tried to deny participation in the incident while Eos tried to hide away. It took a while to explain that they weren't in trouble but it was amusing nonetheless. Alex took out Khroma's pokeball, releasing the flying scorpion Pokemon. "Care to help me once again, You can take the first one you like as a snack." he promised. The Gligar's eyes had an eager glow and she quickly flew away. Pokemon really like berries huh?

It was that time of the week again. Where he and Khroma would go to the Orchard and pick a fair amount of berries for their snacks and sometimes battle use. His last batch was fairly liked by a lot of his Pokemon, especially Eos. The tiny Ralts truly enjoyed the bitter and sweet berries that he had come across. Though thankfully she didn't agree with Mordio's antics this time around. After all, he couldn't just come back everyday, the berries bushes needed time to grow their fruit and ripen again."Alright Khroma, same as usual. Take only what you think we need." Alex told. The Gligar gave a frantic nod, ready to go and pick a few berries, as well as snack on the ones that had too fragrant an aroma.

Alex was starting to get used to carrying around the egg in his bag. At first the weight was a bit uncomfortable but now he hardly noticed it, it felt natural having it there. In any case it was once again time to go out and look for more berries. He's been lucky with his findings in the Grove, some of them have been valuable at the market, others were decent snacks during long treks and the rest have useful effects in battle that he decided to save for when he needed them the most. Taking out his pokeball he called upon his usual assistant with picking berries. "Alright Khroma, let's find us some more berries." The Gligar brightened up as usual and quickly went to work.
