Another day, another exploration. Today Alex decided he would be exploring Orchard Way. He heard that there was a rather limited economy Pokemon here. Even though it was a rather small ecosystem, he had to wonder what exactly made their home here. With berry trees and the shore in such a close proximity surely the rumors had to be a bluff. If it is true, what Pokemon make their homes here. He knew he wouldn't find the answer asking around, no just like with the Power Plant he needed hands on field experience. Figuring he had a better shot finding Pokemon near the path to the Winery with all the berry bushes around, Alex walked along the path hoping to find some answers.

As Alex made his way further through Orchard Way he felt the ground soften with each step until he had come upon a particularly marsh like part of the path.  Perhaps water from the shore had found its way here? Maybe there was Pokemon at work? There were many questions, though one thing was for sure; the new landscape made a complete mess of his jeans. "These are definitely going to need a good wash. "He said, feeling the mud cling to his legs. A little mud wasn't going to be enough to stop this trainer, not today at least.

Though a wild Pokemon might. Ahead of him a Pokemon glared straight in Alex's direction. The purple Pokemon motioned for Alex to come in almost a mocking manner. Yes, this Pokemon was eager for battle. "Now what are you?" Alex questioned, puling out his dex for the answer. A Poison/Fighting type Pokemon known as Croagunk was the answer he was given. That was an odd typing, providing coverage in some of the holes of his team as well as giving him an idea of the next gym he should tackle. 

"Very well then Croagunk, if a battle is what you want I will be happy to oblige. Eos, to the field!" Alex commanded. He tossed the pokeball into the air. The Ralts forming gracefully above the mud, floating over the messy terrain with the use of her powers. "Alright Eos, open with Psychic!" Alex ordered. The Ralts charge a ball of mystic energy, when it grew large enough, she shot the charge of energy directly hitting the Croagunk and knocking it over.

Out cold? He wasn't expecting such a decisive victory even with the double weakness. He wasn't about to complain, in fact he took pride in the fact that Eos was strong enough to perform such a feat. He gave the Ralts praise and tossed an empty pokeball at their defeated opponent, waiting for a sign of capture.
