Selena Valero was a well known woman in many different regions. But perhaps she was best known in the region of Johto where she had obtained her start. And in the region of John she had a great many number of contacts and loyal "business" partners. It was only recently that one of these individuals had come to her on a matter of business. As it so happened she also owed him a favor after a certain incident involving Slowpoke tails. And what might he have come to Selena for? Why, the smuggling of not an object, but a person. The gentleman's daughter, infact. And who was she to say no? It would be like she wasn't the greatest smuggler in this or any other region if she had said no to him.

And so here the international criminal was sitting in a seat at a cafe, awaiting the arrival of the young girl she was charged with bringing into Aina without any rivals of the man being any the wiser. Selena sipped gracefully at the cup of tea that was before her, placing the cup gently upon it's saucer. After all, the woman dressed in the latest Elegant Gothic Lolita clothing from Kalos was nothing if not the epitome of grace and sophistication.

Cassius adjusted her tie, the girl looking like a Honchkrow in her black suit a suitcase at her side, this was the Café she had texted her contact to meet at, now all she needed to do was find her. Eyes scanning she’d be able to pick up her father’s… ‘Friend’ from a mile away. Not many folk dressed like a Kalosian period piece. Glowering she’d clear her throat and take a seat across from the other girl, putting a stray lock of hair behind her ear as dark eyes regarded the rather ornately dressed girl. Rolling her words in her mouth the girl would cross her legs, eyes shifting to look around for anyone. “You know, I thought that you’d be less… Conspicuous.” The girl said, curt and rather gruff, she was obviously trying to sound more like a boy than she was.

Pulling the suitcase in close the girl would lean forward, elbows on the outdoor patio table as her fingers steepled under her chin. “Anyway… It is nice to meet you auntie Yvelte I assume father has filled you in on the details?” She asked, her fingers twitching. She had been forewarned by the, eccentric look of this one, the “Queen of Luck” as some of the lower tier men referred to her as. Still to actually see the rather lacy and ornate clothing on someone she assumed was supposed to lay low, was rather jarring. Still, she’d be brought right to Mala town, then she had to pay this woman, and after that she’d be free to roam the island to her content. A smirk played over her lips at that, the girl’s eyes hooding slightly, looking much like the Meowth that ate the Chatot. Everything seemed to be going just like how she liked, her way.

The pale skinned beauty adorned a glowing smile as Cassius spoke. Unlike the smirk that Cassius wore, her "aunt" looked much more genuine. "Come now, dear. Of course I'm aware. Your father was quite decisive in saying you needed a nice vacation. Some time away from Johto will do you well." Her voice was soothing and gentle in tone, far from the usual gruff voiced thugs that Cass no doubt dealt with. "But come, have a spot of tea with me. Your flight must have been a long one. Would you like something to eat as well?" "Yvelte" gestured over a waitress, ordering a cup of tea and a few snack cakes regardless of the answer. Infact, she didn't even bother to hear an answer before she placed the order.

The woman clad in black sipped at her tea once more before looking at Cassius with that same award winning smile. "Would you like me to give you a lift to Mala? Or do you want to see the region? I can certainly handle your luggage for you if it is the latter." She nodded towards the suitcase, well aware of what it actually was. "Perhaps I could even give you a few tips if it's the latter."

Cassius nodded, the motion curt and abrupt. “Very good.” She huffed before leaning back in her seat, rolling her shoulders and cracking her neck. At the invitation to tea and snacks the young girl would cock an eyebrow, though she was riding nice, and therefor got better food then most of the other passengers, it still sucked, that with having to sit for an ungodly amount of time had left the girl rather sore and tired. How did people even sleep on those planes? Pursing her lips she’d open her mouth to answer, only for the woman to call over the waiter and order for them, tea and snack cakes? Why snack cakes? This place had a perfectly good spring salad. Closing her mouth she’d resume her catlike smile, she still had gotten her way, alone in the Aina region, those two bodyguards would be looking everywhere for her.

At the questioning of her destination the girl would cock her lips at the smiling girl. “Well I think I should go to Mala first, the second half of your payment awaits, and I would like to unpack myself, but I plan to leave right away.” She explained. Thanking the Waitress for the tea as their food and drink was delivered. Blowing the steam off the top she’d take a sip of the hot liquid, her nose twitching as the steam flowed in. At the notion of tips though the girl lit up. “I would be most grateful for anything you could show me Aunty.” The girl said, actually sounding sincere as she quietly placed a napkin in her lap and took one of the cake plates for herself.

"Ah, I told your father I didn't need to be reimbursed for that ticket, but if he insists..." A hand rose and her open palm faced the sky as she sighed. The other girl would probably find it odd, but she would in time learn to pick and choose one's words in public. And if she didn't, well... It wasn't a concern of Selena's at least. The pale skinned lolita's hand moved back to her tea cup, bringing it to her lips again in a small sip as Cassius began to drink her tea. She chuckled a bit after placing the cup back down upon it's saucer, amused by the girl's interest in her last sentence.

"Well, it's said that the particular "Victory Road" of Aina has every Pokemon you can imagine. Though I half suspect it's just rumor. And speaking of the Pokemon League for this region, it is based upon the summit of Mount Sunrise, a particularly large mountain to the east of Lani. Much of Aina is still wilderness, infact. What towns there are are generally based along the shore of the land and multiple ferries run all about the island." She took another sip before continuing on. "Additionally, there are two ways to Mala. On foot via the Hapuu Highway or by taking a small plane ride from Lani to Hapuu. Those run twice a day. And Mala is halfway between the beginning of the Highway and the end at Hapuu."

She shrugs at the weird, passive motion. “If he insists than he insists.” She says, fork cutting into the sponge cake before depositing it into her mouth. A small sound of delight unconsciously escaped her chest as she pulled the fork free. Listening to the other woman’s words, Cassius would take notes mentally, Victory Road had lots of variety. Most of the island is wilderness, different from Johto and Goldenrod, that meant find some books or something on wilderness survival, also by camping gear. The girl grimaced at the mention of only two ways, there was no way she was getting back onto a plane, no matter how short. The other was walking, at least it was better than taking a plan but wasn’t a highway supposed to lead there?

“We can’t take a car? I mean it is a highway right?” She asked, the girl not looking to forward to hiking along a highway in a suit. “I mean I do not have the proper wear to go on a hiking trip.” She stated, the girl was a rather cold one, aloof at best as she pecks at the cake and sips her tea. “And you do not look fit to make the journey on foot yourself.” If anything she was observant, the girl letting out a hum. “So other than those ferry rides and what Lani has to offer. Do you know of anything else fun to do here auntie?” She asked, a brow cocking giving the child a critical look. “Because I am thinking of traveling the island to challenge the gyms. It will give me something to do during my time here.”

Selena placed a napkin upon her lap before taking one of the snack cakes herself, taking a bite out of it before placing it back down upon it's plate. After Cassius' latest set of questions ended, the criminal took another napkin and dabbed at her lips to remove any crumbs before speaking again. "We can drive upon the Hapuu Highway, but it is a treacherous stretch and there are many hikers that travel upon it at all times of the day and night. It can be quite hazardous for a driver, but it is quicker. And quite the beautiful sight as well." She paused, tapping a perfectly manicured finger on her chin. "Gyms, hm? Now let's see..." She tapped her finger a couple more times before speaking again.

"Ah yes, there are infact Gyms in all three of the towns that I've mentioned. Lani itself is home to the Flying Gym. You may have noticed it after you exited the airport. In addition, Hapuu is where the Grass Gym is based and Mala is home to the Bug Gym. After that... Well, it wouldn't be much an adventure if I told you where all of them were, hm? But suffice to say, there are as many as usual for an established Pokemon League. There are also a number of more dangerous areas around Aina, though you will need a proper team to face their challenges and proper HMs to access them. There is plenty for you to explore, don't worry dear. Any other questions?" After she was finished speaking, Selena began to eat the rest of the snack cake.
