[Active Party: Lampent, Froslass, Phantump, Bronzor, Clefairy, Sigilyph] [Seeking: Misdreavus, Yamask, Duskull]
The moment Karin saw the bottom of the sharp turn in the road, she was immediately glad that she was walking instead of driving. There had to be four or five cars, or what was left of them at least, sticking out of the rocks below. And who knew how many more people had crashed here but had succeeded in getting their cars hauled away. No wonder driving wasn't recommended.
Steadying her egg in her pack to make sure it couldn't fall out, Karin carefully made her way down the rocky slope leading down from the cliff to the rocks and water below. From up above, she'd seen Ghost types floating about, and that meant a chance to find and catch more of them. She just had to get them to approach her.

Karin had only just gotten to the bottom of the cliff when she found her path blocked. Amazingly enough, by a robot. A ghostly robot, from the looks of it. Her eyes lit up as it started moving, taking up a position to block her progress. "Oh, I've gotta have you," she said. On those words, Shiranui drifted forward, ready to make a move on Karin's command. "No, not this time," Karin said. "Stay with the egg for now. Skull Kid's got this one. Right?" She sent out her Phantump as she called his name, and he nodded.
"Alright. Phantom Force!" Karin called out. Skull Kid nodded, then vanished on the spot. The robot ghost prepared to fight anyway, and...inflicted a truly astounding amount of damage to itself by ripping open its own chest cavity. Malevolent energy flowed out, seeking out the robot's opponent to inflict with curses. But Skull Kid was nowhere to be found, and as the vengeful spirits wandered, he reappeared out of the aether, slamming into the robot from behind.
"Um..." Karin said, speechless at what had just happened. "That...we should probably fix that...yeah," she said. She wasn't expecting the robot to last long, but she also wasn't expecting it to just damage itself like that. "Yeahhh..." She threw a PokeBall at the now unconscious robot Pokemon to catch it.
