============= Misc Items . These aren't required, but they're definitely recommended ------------------ Berry Pouch A large pouch that is used for storing Berries. It's made using materials that are ideal for carrying them, as doing so in anything else comes at the risk of damaging and ruining them. As such, it's necessary to have one if you plan on picking berries. Cost: 500 Credits
Apricorn Pouch A large pouch that is used for storing Apricorns. It's made using materials that are ideal for carrying them, as doing so in anything else comes at the risk of damaging and ruining them. As such, it's necessary to have one if you plan on picking apricorns. Cost: 500 Credits
VIP Card This item gives the owner access to a special room in the Training Area, which allows them use its facilities more often. As long as you hold this pass, you will be able to use the Training Area once a week, instead of once every two weeks. Each card is registered to the one who bought it, meaning only they can use it. Cost: 7000 Credits Excavation Kit This kit comes with all the essentials for mining, and is a must-have for anyone who wishes to dig for fossils. It's expensive, but the potential payoff makes it well worth the investment. Cost: 5000 Credits
DexNav An optional (but highly useful) upgrade to the PokeDex given to new trainers, this item widens the range of what types of Pokemon one can find in the wild. Though it can only be used once a week, having this upgrade not only increases your chances of encountering rare Pokemon, but there's also the a chance of running into a wild Pokemon (rare or otherwise) that has an Egg Move and/or it's Hidden Ability. There's even an increased chance of finding a specific Pokemon that you're looking for, so it can really come in handy. Cost: 7000 Credits
=========== Fishing Rods - These items are required to use the various fishing spots around the region ----------------
Old Rod Little more than a stick with some thread tied to the end. It does a decent job of catching some weaker fish Pokemon, but don't be surprised if you're not getting any big catches with this makeshift fishing rod. Cost: 1000 Credits
Good Rod Being an actual fishing rod, this one is leagues better than the Old Rod in terms of overall quality, and can therefore be used to catch stronger Pokemon. However, it's a fairly cheap model, so it still has its limits regarding what it can handle. Cost: 2000 Credits; you can buy a Good Rod for half-off if you trade in an Old Rod that has been used at least once.
Super Rod When it comes to fishing, you won't find anything better. There isn't a single Pokemon that this rod can't pull out of the water. Even huge ones like Gyarados or Wailord can be dragged out with little effort. No one is quite sure how that's even possible, but few will argue that this is the ultimate tool for anyone who loves fishing and/or Water-type Pokemon. Cost: 4000 Credits; you can buy a Super Rod for half-off if you trade in a Good Rod that has been used at least three times.
You may also come here to sell any items you have, but don't want. All items in this and any other shop (other than the Trainer Shop) can be sold for 50% of their normal price. For example, if you wish to sell an Eviolite, which costs 2000 Credits to buy, you'll get 1000 in return for it. There are also some items that can be sold, but not bought. They can be traded in for the following amounts;
Big Nugget - 10,000 Credits Nugget - 5,000 Credits Star Piece - 4,900 Credits Stardust - 1,000 Credits Fossils - 3,000 Credits TM - 1,500 Credits Valuable Berries - 500 Credits Honey - 50 Credits
