Isolde had decided to go to a new place today and what better place to go than a cave with a lot of potential Pokemon to help dig out the soil. The cave was a bit frightening at first, but she had to tell herself that the cave was nothing to be scared about. Espella had accompanied her, knowing that she was going to have to work harder for the team's sake. Well, at least they did have more Pokemon to actually tend to a garden much due to their expertise in planting seeds to help the flowers grow, but now there was the option to have a Pokemon dig out the soil and use it as mulch for the flowers to grow in. Besides, there was a lot of Ground type Pokemon that she could use for this task anyway, but Sunrise Caves probably had something in mind to do that.

Pretty soon, the two heard a screeching sound of a bat and it was a lavender bat-like Pokemon which was hanging from the ceiling of the cave. The Pokedex had helpfully chirped that it was a Noibat and it was a pretty uncommon Pokemon in Kalos, not to mention that one of the Kalosian Elite Four had a Noivern in their possession. As uncommon and draconic as the Noibat was, she probably didn't need another Flying type and the Noibat could tell that she was not interested in him. The bat just continued to do what he was doing and Espella happily examined any rock that they had come across, curiously looking at the dark depths of the cave.

A loud stomping sound could be heard as the two had come face to face with a Druddigon. Despite being a Fairy-type, Espella began to be afraid of the large dragon and she hid behind her trainer, attempting to not get noticed by it. The Druddigon had looked down at the puny Cottonee before she shook her head and stomped away, clearly she was not interested in taking down a small opponent such as a Cottonee. The Cotton Puff Pokemon was still quivering with fear as she peeked out from behind her trainer and she sighed in relief. Isolde would take note that the Cottonee was rather afraid of dragons that could be larger than her, so that fear was a bit justified.

A fluttering of wings could be heard and a Zubat was disturbed from its sleep, having been angry that she could not sleep. The Cottonee froze with fear as the Zubat screeched at Isolde and the Cotton Puff Pokemon. Immediately, she sent out the shiny Anorith and he looked up at the Zubat before glancing over at the frightened Cottonee. "Espella, use Leech Seed. Jarl, set up a Swords Dance." She ordered as the Cottonee planted leeching seeds at the Zubat while the shiny shrimp would have floating imaginary swords increase his attack by two stages. The Zubat flapped her wings as razor sharp blade-like winds would attack the Cottonee, damaging her in a way that she had shut her eyes in immense pain.

The Zubat would have her life leeched by the seeds and that health was recovered by the Cottonee herself. "Jarl, use Rock Slide and Espella, use Giga Drain." The shiny Anorith sent forth a cascading waterfall of rocks that would hurt the Zubat immensely and the Cottonee would drain the energy from the Zubat and a little of that health was restored back to her as well. The Zubat flapped her wings again as blade-like winds would hurt the Cottonee again and the seeds leeched some health back to the Cotton Puff Pokemon. "Again, use Rock Slide. Espella, keep using Giga Drain." The shiny Anorith sent forth another cascading waterfall of rocks as the Zubat struggled to stay in the air and the Cottonee drained what was left of the Zubat's health even if it was not effective. With the Zubat fainted, she would walk towards home along with the Anorith and the Cottonee accompanying her there. Perhaps, finding a specific Pokemon was especially hard after all.
