[Looking for: Trapinch, Aron] Her last encounter with a Zubat had been a bad day at least, but she wasn't about to let that happen again. The Cottonee hopped by her trainer's side and she was a bit scared of the cave now, thanks to her traumatizing incident with the Zubat in question. Yep, it was all thanks to a Zubat that the Cottonee was utterly afraid of Poison type Pokemon in general and to top it all off, she would never be able to overcome the crippling fear unless she had conquered it somehow. Isolde wondered how long it would take to actually find something that would be a good Pokemon to make mulch. She had regretted coming to this cave the very instant that she had her first encounter with a Zubat from hell. Nonetheless, she would try again, but she would also catch anything that she had passed up last time.

Walking inside the cave felt like hours until there was a strange shape on the floor. Upon closer inspection, it was a strange rock Pokemon that she hadn't seen before. The Pokedex had said that this Pokemon was in fact a Carbink and it was apparently related to a legendary Pokemon called Diancie. Apparently the Pokedex had also said that Carbink mutate into a Diancie, but the machine did not explain how it would mutate. "Hmm...even though it mutates into a legendary and mythical Pokemon, I don't think I'd want that either." She told as the Cottonee glanced at the Carbink with wonder before the Carbink apparently got bored and floated away. Sighing, she continued on inside the cave.

Up ahead, she hear something that resembled a Pokemon she had not seen before. An Axew had approached them and it was so cute. It was unfortunate that this was not the Pokemon she was looking for, but it might be a considered catch. The Axew knew that she wasn't interested in it either, so the little dragon walked away, leaving the two of them alone. Perhaps, this day wasn't getting any better, but this could be one more chance to have something turn up before they can go home to rest. The Cottonee would hop around, staring at some I the rocks that adorned the cave and she was doing okay at least. She wasn't really scared at all now that she didn't encounter anything that might scare her to death.

The duo would soon encounter a Pokemon that had blade-like hands and he stared at them with an intent look. The Pokedex identified the Pokemon as a Pawniard and the pawn Pokemon did look fierce. Perhaps, he might be of use after all, but the problem was that he could not be easily taken down. Sending out the Anorith to do the job again, he turned to the Pawniard and had a fierce expression on his face.
"Jarl, set up Swords Dance. Espella, do the honors with Leech Seed." She ordered as the two Pokemon would do what was commanded. The Anorith increased his attack by two stages complete with imaginary floating swords while the Cottonee planted leeching seeds around the Pawniard. The Pawniard would slash at the Cottonee while a trail of darkness accompanied his blade, but the attack was ineffective. The Pawniard was taken off guard by his health being sapped. "Jarl, use Brick Break and Espella, use Giga Drain." Isolde ordered as the Anorith slashed at the Pawniard with glowing red claws and the Cottonee drained some more of the Pawniard's health though it was ineffective. The pawn Pokemon was clearly trying to keep up with how the two were working together in sync.
The Pawniard would target the Anorith as he lowered his steel-hard head to ram at the old shrimp. The pawn Pokemon had his health sapped by Leech Seed. Jarl would shut his own eyes from the immense pain, but nonetheless he would keep going. "Again, Brick Break. Espella, use Giga Drain once more." Isolde ordered as the Anorith once again slashed at the Pawniard with glowing red claws and the Cottonee drained what was left of the Pawniard's health. Tossing an empty Pokeball at the Pawniard, she would attempt to capture it.
Summary: Cottonee sent out. Anorith sent out. Anorith used Swords Dance. Anorith's attack raised sharply by two stages. Cottonee used Leech Seed. Pawniard used Night Slash on Cottonee. Pawniard's health was sapped by Leech Seed. Anorith used Brick Break. Cottonee used Giga Drain. Pawniard used Iron Head on Anorith. Pawniard's health was sapped by Leech Seed. Anorith used Brick Break. Cottonee used Giga Drain. Pawniard fainted. Attempted catch.
