"Mmm..... Today is a great day, huh Scorch!" Said Corenna happily. She was currently riding her Ponyta bare back without any reins towards the park. The Ponyta nickered happily and flicked his ears towards her. Corenna smiled as she pet his fiery mane. Despite popular belief, the mane would not burn you if you were careful and if the Ponyta trusted you. The mane was warm and her hand seemed to pass through it like it was smoke. Corenna believed it was a unique feeling, one that only people who were close with fire types would feel. Scorch nickered happily and pushed himself into the petting. Suddenly, Corenna felt a small, light body climb on her head. "Hey Flare!" She said with a grin. Her starter chirped happily and began to nest in the girls head. Corenna grinned. She loved this. She loved the warm feeling of her fire types, and would never get tired of it. As they reached the park, Corenna hopped off Scorch with a smile. Grabbing Ash's pokeball, she released the shy little Magby before turning to Scorch. "You're free to do whatever you want, just don't burn anything. There aren't any water types around Ya know!" She said with a smile. Scorch whinnied his thanks before cantering off to graze. Corenna sat down and carefully picked Flare off her head. The little Torchic squeaked as she was suddenly lifted up and placed on the ground. "Ok you two, you can do whatever you want, but stay in my sight. You two are somewhat rare and are small enough to be grabbed without a problem!" She said, earning a nod from the two pokemon. The two went over to a small clearing and began to play tag, practicing their dodging as they did so. Isolde Spencer, Dylan Reed

Paying the residential area of Lani City always had its merits, but it also provided a place for her Grass-type Pokemon to play in. While Maria was enjoying herself with practicing her dancing, Espella wanted to join in the Lotad's cute dance as she attempted to emulate the Lotad's movements. Tristan was occupied with teaching the baby shiny Cherubi how to play a game of tag along with Gawain. Galahad was busy with just watching the others play and doing nothing in general since he was immobile. Though he managed to get himself stuck on a tree since he was pretty curious about how they actually work in nature. It was nice to have them get a break before they could do major battles again. Although Tristan was more than ready to evolve at any given moment, he was still in his child-like self, but he did do his best to take care of the younger Cherubi.

After spending a long day training against a couple of trainers at the Lani Coliseum, Dylan figured that it would have been nice to give his Pokemon a little break. Since the park wasn't too far from the battlegrounds, he decided to take a small detour through the place and let his Pokemon run free for a few minutes. It wasn't too long after walking around in the park that the trainer and his Pokemon discovered a small water fountain. It was the perfect kind of tool to keep his Pokemon entrained and happy. Dylan's Frogadier was resting underneath a shady tree, his Squirtle, Seadra, Chinchou, and Lotad were busy splashing about in the fountain and his Marill was dangling his small feet into the fountain to enjoy the refreshing feeling of the cool water surround his tiny feet. Meanwhile, the blue-haired trainer was siting on the edge of the fountain, staring up towards the beautiful, blue sky. It was a such a beautiful day, and for some reason he felt the feeling that it would be a rather interesting and fulfilling day soon enough. The park was somewhat packed with various trainers and tourist running around, therefore, he didn't attempt to seek out any familiar faces, just yet.

As Corenna's eyes closed due to how comfortable it was, Flare decided that it would be a good time to run around. The flame chicken, followed by Ash, ran around the park, stopping when she saw a Phantump and shiny Cherubi. Chirping happily, she ran over to them. She squeaked, asking the two if they wanted to play with her and Ash. Ash was chittering nervously as she looked around, nervouse that someone would try to take her. Flare told her that she had nothing to worry about, and turned her attention back to the grass types, her head cocked as she waited for an anwser.

Pretty soon, a Torchic and a Magby that the trio had never seen before were asking them to join in their game and the Torchic waited for his answer. The ghostly stump nodded and told them in his own Pokemon language that they can join in. Camilla was quite curious of the two Fire-type newcomers, but nonetheless she would agree to play along with them. While Gawain was more alarmed at a tree burning and attempted to warn Galahad about it, the iron seed would watch from where he was stuck on a tree. He was rather unaware that a nearby tree would be burning and that it was nothing to worry about in his case. Isolde would watch her Lotad and Cottonee dance with each other or at least the Cotton Puff Pokemon was copying her movements.
She didn't really notice that somewhere, Water-type Pokemon would splash around in the fountain, probably a familiar face was there, but she wasn't sure yet.

Dylan continued to let his mind wonder away from him as he watched the passing clouds float around in the light blue skies. It was quite calming to simply watch the clouds move through the skies so effortless and the sound of the splashing water in the background managed to make the scene even more peaceful for the blue-haired trainer. His Pokemon continued to play around the large fountain for a few more minutes. Of course, one of his Pokemon would be attempting to make an escape. Cadence's eyes scanned over her surroundings and quickly noticed a fairly cute and familiar Phantump playing tag with other Grass-types and even a Fire-type. Her round eyes swiftly become heart-shaped as she felt her small crush on Tristan start to take effect over her body. Cadence would hope out of the fountain and dance her way over towards the growing group of Pokemon. However, instead of approaching Tristan first, she would join in with the other dancing Grass-types for a few seconds.
Meanwhile, Dylan had managed to close his sparkling blue eyes for a few seconds. It wasn't long before his Seadra shot forth a gentle blast of water from her snout to let her trainer know that Cadence had managed to make an escape. "Huh, what's wrong Narissa?" He asked his Seadra in a curious manner. Luckily, he didn't take him long to realize that his Lotad was missing in action. "Great, she managed to make an escape again." He sighed, giving himself a gentle face palm. He would stand up and return majority of his Pokemon back into the Poke Balls, keeping only his Frogadier and his Squirtle out with him. "Let's hurry and find Cadence." He armed, picking up his baby Squirtle and carrying it along the way. His Frogadier would leap in the trees and move about like a graceful ninja. Thankfully, Cadence didn't manage to get too far. "Cadence, what have I told you about running away?!" He asked the Pokemon upon approaching her. The Water/Grass-type quickly come to a halt and glance down at the ground. She only wanted to dance with the other Pokemon and get a better view of her crush. She didn't want to cause her trainer to worry. While studying the Pokemon around him, he would notice a few familiar face. "Oh, these are Isolde's Pokemon. She must be around here somewhere." He started, turning her head around to look in different directions. Though he didn't know who those Fire-types belong to and didn't even notice the sleeping girl not too far away from him.

Flare ginned happily as she was accepted. Chirping, she gave a happy jump and shot a small flame out. Unfortunately, the Torchic had forgotten that there were trees all around and thus caught a tree on fire. Ash, who had seen this whole thing gasped, and chittered nervously. It was definitely bad that Flare had caught a tree on fire.
Smelling the smoke, Scorch looked up from his grazing. The Ponyta was grazing a bit away from the others and looked up in fear as he saw the flames. He cantered over to where the tree was on fire and whinnied in fear for the others. He may not have been able to be hurt by flames, by Flare and the others were.
Corenna's eyes opened the second she scented smoke. Realizing that not only were Flare and Ash gone, but a tree was also on fire, she became worried.

The Torchic had shot a flame and the tree was now on fire. The park was probably doomed or so they thought as Maria would stop dancing and was alarmed at a tree burning up ahead. The Lotad would waddle up to her trainer and point Isolde in the direction of the burning tree. "I'm sure it was an accident, but we'll douse the fire real quick. I think Cadence can come along too." Isolde told as she made her way to the burning tree, but she stopped just to ask Cadence if she wanted to save her crush from burning in what would potentially be a deadly fire. Once the other Lotad would agree to help, Maria would waddle her way to the burning tree and was genuinely worried about Camilla. It seemed that the Cherubi was not all aware of what happened with the tree and the two Lotads would have to move fast.
"Alright. Use Scald to douse out that fire. Cadence, you help too with Rain Dance." She ordered as Maria would spew out steaming hot water at the flames, determined to save the baby Cherubi's life and potentially the life of her other teammates.

It didn't take Morris long to notice the burning tree ahead of them. Glancing back over his trainer, the Frogadier would give his trainer a loud croak before pointing towards the direction of the flaming tree. Dylan's deep blue eyes widen at the disaster. If that fire managed to spread even more then it would burn down the entire park. "Quick Morris run ahead of me and attempt to stop that fire!" He commanded, knowing that his Pokemon would be a lot quicker than him. He could only hope that Cadence wasn't in mist of the fire. The Frogadier nodded his head before leaping even more quickly through the tall trees, making his way towards the site of the fire. Meanwhile, Cadence had decided to tag along with Isolde and her Pokemon. Of course, she would tag along to help stop the fire from possibly hurting her dear Tristan. Now standing in front of the burning tree, Cadence would nod her head at Isolde's command and quickly summon a rainstorm to help put out the fire and even boost the power of Maria's Scald.
While running towards the fire, Dylan soon noticed a random rainstorm starting to shower down. Candence. He thought to himself as he continued to run towards the danger. Perhaps, Cadence was attempting to help, but out the fire. Soon enough Morris appeared on the scene. He was standing on-top of a tree not too far away from the burning tree. Glancing down for a few seconds, he would notice Cadence and Maria attempting to put the fire out. He would give Cadence a thumbs up before blasting his own Scald attack towards the burning tree, causing the flames to die out even more. Unfortunately, the flames were still pretty big and would more than likely take a little more time to put out. A couple of minutes later, Dylan arrived on the scene and just in time. A burning limb have fell apart and was heading right towards Cadence and Maria. "Donny, use Water Pulse!" The baby Squirtle sitting inside his arms swiftly released a shimmering orb of blue energy towards the limb an soon exploded into a blast of water to put out the flaming limb before shattering it into smaller pieces. "Isolde, what the hell is going on here?" He asked coming to a halt and catching his breath.

Corenna basically screamed when she saw the flaming tree. Looking at Scorch who was currently glancing around nervously, Corenna sprang into a action, having a bit of experience of putting out fires. "Scorch! Stomp the embers out! Flare! Mirror Move on the Squirtle to use water pulse! Ash! Make sure everyone stays away!" She called. The Pokemon nodded, leaping into action. Scorch was stomping out every ember that landed on the grass, his Flash Fire ability and his diamond hard hooves making sure he wasn't hurt by the flames. Flare, after glowing for a second, was using water pulse on the tree, attempting to extinguish it. Ash was running around, telling any Pokemon that was around about the fire.
Corenna grabbed her hair in dismay. Even though the tree would be extinguished, it was still her pokemons fault, that was obvious. She was just lucky that there was a trainer with water types around to help put out the fire. She was going to reprimand her Torchic for this. Flare had always been way to zealous and excitable, which unfortunately led to accidents like this.

"This Torchic accidentally set a tree on fire. I'm sure it didn't mean any harm to that tree." She replied to Dylan as the others were helping douse the poor tree for a bit. If the fire had gotten deadly, there was a chance that the park would've gone down in flames and possibly the Torchic's trainer might be having a lawsuit over it. The Ferroseed would detach himself from the tree and made his way, albeit his face actually having a panicked look from attempting to not be roasted. Truthfully, the iron seed preferred not to stick himself on tree for a while until the fire was put out.
At least Tristan and Camilla were safe from the flames, but the shiny Cherubi was deathly afraid of the burning tree and cried. The ghostly stump would attempt to calm down the young Cherubi and made silly faces at her. Camilla felt better and she knew that having the Phantump take care of her.

Giving a sigh of relief that the fire had put out, she turned around to face Flare, glaring down at her dissapointedly. "Flare, what have I told you about using your Fire Burst while not in a battle?" She asked sternly, showing that she ment business. Flare broke eye contact after a second and chirped apologetically. Corenna sighed, rubbing the heel of her hand on her fore head. "Look, I know you like it but you can't use it when excited! This whole park could have burned down and not only would I get in big trouble, you would probably be locked away for being a danger. Do you really want that?" Asked Corenna. Once again the Torchic chirped in an apologetic tone, shaking her head sadly when Corenna asked her a question. After a few more seconds of dissapointed glares, Corenna sighed. "You have to stop this, I don't want you taken away..." She mumbled as she scooped her starter up, petting her head softly.
Hearing the boy's question Corenna sighed. "I'm so sorry about that. When Flare gets excited, she tends to shoot off flames. I've been trying to get her to stop, but she has been doing it so often that breaking the habit is hard. She must have shot a flame into the air. I'm sorry you had to get involved.." She said apologetically. Deciding that the two other traines at least deserved to know her name, she began to introduce herself. "I'm Corenna, a fire type specialist. This Flare, my Torchic, and that's Scorch my Ponyta over there. Ash is around here somewhere, she's my Magby." She said evenly, hoping that the other two would at least forgive her.

"It's alright. I'm sure what Flare did was really an accident on her part and like you said, she probably got too excited. And nice to meet you, Corenna. I'm Isolde and I'm a Grass-type specialist as evident from the starters I've chosen, Tristan and Galahad." She told as she pointed out the ghostly stump and the iron seed. The Cottonee would hop to her trainer's side as well as the super-sized Pumpkaboo floating there and looking rather nervous from the incident. Meanwhile, Tristan would smile back at Cadence and he would continue his game of tag with the baby Cherubi. Camilla was enjoying herself and with Tristan as her caretaker, nothing could go wrong this time.
The ghostly stump was probably aware that Cadence was blushing and he probably reciprocated her feelings as well...maybe.
