» TAGGED, » WORD COUNT, 390 Steel beams and makeshift pillars littered the landscape, hugged by countless mounds of churned up soil and gravel. The Lani Expansion looked like a wasteland compared to the rest of Aina, where nature flourished. The sound of pulleys creaking in the wind and the distance howl of tractors made the area ominous. Marin began to wonder if it was even legal for her to be passing through here...
The construction sites in Virbank City were few and far between; most of what the city needed had already been built. The occasional renovation or demolition brought out the tractors and wrecking balls, but most of the heavy-duty construction was reserved for the Virbank Complex. A wave of nostalgia hit Marin as she remembered her years working on the site. The air had been especially dank in the Complex, and the foreboding distillation tower always watched her work day in and day out. Marin would be lying if she said she missed her construction job, but the memories were strangely comforting.
She rubbed her calloused fingers together as she walked down memory lane. It was amazing how much thought scenery could provoke in one's head. Marin was so busy thinking, she did not stop to consider the dangerous Pokemon that could be lurking in the shells of unfinished buildings. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS
