Gonna Need a Montage! (Training Grounds)

Ah, the training grounds. Akira had been wanting to check out this place ever since she first heard about it, and she was excited now that she was finally able to get in. Looking around to see what kinds of options were available, she found a large padded training dummy that would be perfect for what she was planning to do. With a nod, she reached to her belt and grabbed the Poke Ball containing her Tepig.
"Alright, Porco Rosso. Let's work on your power a bit..." Once her Tepig was out of his Poke Ball and aware of what was going on, he nodded, ready for the specialized training. "Okay...see that dummy over there? I want you to use a Flame Charge on it, as hard as you can manage." The Tepig nodded, charging at the dummy Akira pointed out with a fiery tackle. Akira nodded "Good. I want you to keep at it, though. Keep using Flame Charge, and try and hit it a little harder each time!"
A little over an hour passed, as the Tepig did just that, continuously striking the training dummy with a Flame Charge. By the time he was finished, he was exhausted, and Akira was feeling a bit worn out herself. Still, in the end, it paid off. There was only a slight improvement in his overall power, but it was an improvement nonetheless, and Akira was proud. "Very good Porco Rosso. You've earned yourself a rest...how 'bout we get something to eat?" The Tepig smiled and nodded, returning to Akira's side. Then, they made their way out of the training room.

Akira smiled as she entered the training area for a second time, eager to once again make use of the room to train her Pokemon. Her only regret was that she wasn't able to make it out here more often. Regardless, she knew exactly who she was going to use this time around. Before, she was afraid that the equipment might not be able to handle what is a essentially a creature made from living stone and metal, but having been here once before, she saw that they were more than sufficiently equipped to handle such a purpose. Finding what appeared to be a large practice dummy made of solid stone, she nodded.
"This looks perfect. Come on out, Elwin!" Thus, she grabbed a Poke Ball and sent out her Aron, who looked around before turning her attention to Akira and seeing what it was she wanted. "See that stone dummy? It looks pretty solid, so I want you to hit it with a Head Smash!" The look on her face made it clear that she would rather be fighting a real opponent, but she complied, charging toward the dummy and striking it head-first. The impact seemed to make the whole room shake a bit, and, much to Akira's surprise, the dummy was barely damaged at all; at worst, a tiny, barely-noticeable crack. "Wow...that's really hard..."
With a smile, she nodded. "Alright. Use Head Smash again. Keep going until there's a crack large enough to cover at least a quarter of it." The Aron liked the sound of that, and with this, the stone dummy was hammered for what seemed like hours. However, it was only about an hour in all. Eventually, the crack grew quite large, and part of the dummy was even beginning to crumble. Or, at least, the outer layer of the dummy. Akira could only guess as to how this thing wasn't pulverized into gravel by now. Regardless, she looked to her now exhausted Aron and nodded. "Good job Elwin...you definitely deserve a rest." Thus, she returned her Aron to her ball, then made her way out of the training grounds, satisfied with how this went.

Here she was again, ready to train more of her Pokemon. This time around, she was using one of her most recently-obtained Pokemon. She had planned on using her Tepig, but this particular Pokemon seemed rather antsy so she decided to go ahead and use him instead. She found a small shooting gallery-style area with moving targets, which seemed perfect for what she had planned for him. With a nod of confirmation to herself, she sent out her Tynamo. The small Pokemon looked around in confusion for a second, before realizing what was gong on.
Akira called out to him. "Okay, Blanka. I want you to use Charge Beam on those moving targets!" The Tynamo nodded, gathering electricity from his body and firing it in a beam. Unfortunately, he missed completely. Akira let out a sigh as he tried again a few more times, only to miss each time. Then Akira realized what was wrong "...wait. Blanka...don't aim for where the targets are. Aim ahead of them, and try to time your shot so that it hits them when they move into it." The Tynamo blinked, not entirely sure what she was talking about, but gave it a shot. This time, he came much closer to hitting it. Akira nodded "That's right! Just work on your timing, and you'll be just fine."
As the next hour passed, Blanka slowly got the hang of it, until he was hitting each target dead on. Even when Akira sped up the rate at which they moved, it only took him a few tries to adjust his aim. With a smile and a nod, Akira called out to him. "Awesome job. Let's call it a day." The Tynamo, a bit exhausted from the constant use of a single move, nodded as Akira pulled out his Poke Ball and returned him. Then, after doing what she could to clean up the mess, she made her way out of the room. Another trip well-spent.

He was close to evolving. Akira could feel it. He just needed a few more pushes in the right direction, and her Tynamo would be able to evolve. Her Tepig and Aron were also fairly close, but her Tynamo needed it more, given how limited his options for battle are. Even Tyrogue was at least capable of learning TMs and Move Tutor moves. Tynamo just had...nothing. But that was about to change. Akira could feel in it her gut. Once this session was over, it wouldn't take long for Blanka to evolve at all.
As usual, her Egg was in its protective case as she carried it around with her, eager to see what was inside of it. Either way, as she looked around, she found a simple but sturdy training dummy, nodding quietly to herself. With what she had in mind for her Tynamo's training, it would be perfect. Thus, carefully set the Egg aside, and grabbed the Poke Ball containing her Tynamo, sending him out. After looking around for a bit, the Tynamo was quick to figure out what was going on.
"Alright Blanka. See that training dummy over there? I want you to alternate between hitting it with Spark, and blasting it with Charge Beam. Each time, I want you to try and hit it a little harder than the last!" The Tynamo nodded. First, he gathered a large amount of electricity into his body, then charged into the dummy pointed out to him with an electrified tackle. Then, he quickly moved back to put some distance between the two, and gathered more electricity. This time, he fired it at the dummy in the form of a beam.
This continued for the next hour or so, alternating between the two attacks continuously, and doing his best to make each hit land harder than the last, even if only slightly. Akira nodded quietly. "Good job. I think that'll do for now. No point in pushing you too hard." The exhausted Tynamo nodded, and Akira returned him to his Poke Ball for a well-deserved rest. It was only a matter of time now.
