"Training grounds, huh..." Seria blinked as she found herself making her way to some specialized area where trainers could... Well, let their Pokemon train and get stronger, for lack of a better phrase. She had managed to get here thanks to some outside connections (Seria said she could repay the favour sometime but was urged not to) but otherwise had realized that she could use the area as she saw fit provided she didn't disrupt anybody else who happened to be there. Seria smiled and took out a Pokeball which contained Elysium, her Deerling. The little doe popped out and seemed to be pleased to be given the opportunity to run around, though she seemed pretty interested in what Seria was doing - she was getting some larger stones she was rolling around before placing broken logs to make makeshift hurdles. "Ok, you want to have a run around? Maybe you could try galloping across those logs?" Seria blinked as Elysium tilted her head and gave herself a bit of a warm-up first by running and trotting about near the ghetto obstacle course before giving the hurdle run a bit of a go.
Hopping over one, two, three, hop, step, jump! Seria smiled as she saw Elysium excitedly run the makeshift course, by the time she had reached the end she was trotting as if proud of herself. Seria walked slowly towards her and gently pet her, smiling. "Good job, now, you want to exercise some of your power?" Seria asked softly, as the Deerling seemed to nod. Seria smiled and gave her another gentle pet as she went off to get a dummy made of hay. It looked like it was on some flimsy stand, though that may have been deliberate.
"OK, I'd like you to use your Double Kick on it" Seria said, pointing at the dummy. Elysium trotted her small hooves before lgiving the dummy a single kick with her front legs, and then kicking a second time, which made the dummy wobble. But it did not fall. "That was a strong hit, but I think you can do stronger than that~ Well, how about a Faint Attack for good measure?" Seria said again, as the Deerling galloped around and faced the dummy again. Soon, with an increased speed, Elysium seemed to fade in and out of sight as she feigned an attack before roughly charging into the dummy, making a lot of hay get thrown about, but the dummy also got knocked over and fell. "Nice! You've got the hang of things, I'm sure you will get stronger. But for now, you do need a break. You'll gain more strength and endurance over time, so let's get something to eat 'n drink, okay?" Seria smiled as she pet Elysium and let her rest her legs for a bit and cool down before they left the training grounds.
