As Akira made her way into the cave, she was quite excited. Having invested pretty much all of her money into an Excavation Kit, she was eager to try it out, in hopes of finding something rare or valuable. The kit itself was simple; a shovel for digging away loose dirt and gravel, and a small pickax for digging into the rock, as well as some basic safety gear. Once everything was ready, she got to work, digging and shoveling into the wall of the cave, looking for any signs of something that looked like it'd be worth taking with her. Honestly, as long as she didn't leave empty-handed, she'd be content.

With her Aron at her side, Akira once again made her way into the Fossil Cave. She had a pretty nice find the last time she was here, so she was eager to see if she would be so lucky this time as well. Regardless, once she found what appeared to be a good spot, she got right to work. Like before, she started by digging away any loose dirt or gravel, then began chipping away at the stone. However, she had a plan to make it go a little faster this time around. She looked to her Aron and nodded quietly.
"Alright Elwin. Right here. I want you to use Rock Smash!" With a nod, the Aron proceeded to jump up and slam her head into the area that she pointed out. This caused a large number of cracks in the wall, the outer layer of which immediately crumbled. Now, all that remained was to see if there was anything of note either sticking out of the wall or in the pile of rubble now at her feet.

Here she was again. In her last trip, she scored a Sail Fossil. Which...was nice, but she ended up trading the Pokemon away for one that she found a bit more interesting. Nonetheless, she was encourage by her luck thus far, so she was eager to see if it would hold up. Like before, she had her Aron at her side as she went to work, digging into the wall and shoveling away any excess gravel. When it looked like she might be close to finding something, she nodded. "Same as before, Elwin. Use Rock Smash right here."
The Pokemon nodded and jumped up, landing a pinpoint strike on the wall that caused the outer layer to crumble, revealing something underneath it. Now, all she had to do was loosen it and claim it for herself.

Akira was here yet again, carrying her Egg with her inside of its protective case. Encouraged by her luck in finding a Dome Fossil, which yielded one of her favorite Water-type Pokemon, Kabuto, Akira made her way into the cave once more, eager to see if her luck would continue to hold out. She set her Egg to the side then got to work, digging into the wall and shoveling away any excess gravel.
When it looked like she might be close to finding something, she looked to her Aron, who was at her side the whole time, and nodded. "Alright, Elwin. I'm sure you know the drill by now." The Pokemon nodded and jumped up, striking the wall with a Rock Smash that caused the outer layer to crumble, revealing something underneath it. Now, all she had to do was loosen it and claim it for herself. Admittedly, she was starting to enjoy doing this...
