She remembered that it was the same graveyard that she was exploring recently and that she had met Lilith there too. The Pokemon Center had requested that the flowers should be brought to the Braviary's grave, but there was only one problem. There were ghosts everywhere and the person couldn't get past the ghosts that were inhabiting the graveyard, so she took the request along with her partner being the bunny-hooded girl that she met recently as well. Upon arriving at the graveyard, it had the same dark, dreadful atmosphere that the place emanated for quite a long time. Suddenly, Majora had emerged from his Ultra Ball, wanting to see his home for a while. He could definitely sense some of the spectral energy coming from the graves and it was natural that the ghosts might be disturbed from their slumber. Nonetheless, both of them would wait for the other person to arrive.

Well, Maria wasn't exactly keen on facing down ghosts. Not even when they were Ghost Pokemon and not actual supernaturals. But then again, the Pokedex had been able to inform her of their weaknesses to Dark types and her Sneasel, Murder, was definitely capable of taking advantage. So all told, the bunny hooded trainer decided to take the job. It would be a nice way to earn some money and finally be able to stay somewhere nicer than the Pokemon Center for a night. And hey, she also noticed that Isolde girl's name on there too. All told, it seemed like a nice change of pace from her usual routine.
She made her way to the "Forgotten Gravesite", such as it was. From what she understood, Isolde had already set out with the flowers. Hopefully Maria wasn't running late. Regardless, the whole place had this oppressive feel about it as the pink haired trainer neared it. She reached into a pocket of her hoodie and withdrew Murder's pokeball, releasing the Sneasel. He gave a cheery call and then donned his usual sly grin before walking along with Maria. As much as the place seemed to disturb her, it did even less to her companion. Eventually she spotted the familiar sight of a cute blonde and began to wave as she approached.
"Good to see you again, Isolde."

Ghost Pokemon did seem to be a bit more active today than usual. Several of them were out and about, giddily floating around as though some kind of party was going on. They don't seem to be paying you any attention at the moment, although that will likely change if you proceed deeper into the old graveyard. On the other hand, you also hear a distant cry that the Pokedex would helpfully identify as (fittingly enough) a Braviary. You could follow that too, and it would take you along the edge of the graveyard, probably away from most of the spooks. But there would probably be an actual Braviary waiting at the end. Your choice, although whichever one you choose you should probably stick together.

At any rate, Maria had arrived at the gravesite and she sent out her Sneasel to take care of the ghosts in the graveyard. "Fancy meeting you here as well, Maria." Most of the ghosts were enjoying what looked like a party to some of the spirits while a distant cry of a Braviary could be heard from the edge of the graveyard. Majora seemed to hear it too and it was peculiar as if the ghost of the Braviary was probably disturbed which practically had a feeling of fear whenever there was a somewhat large ghost bird around. The Yamask was particularly interested in the party that was going on and he had rightfully ignored the Braviary's cry as if...he was afraid of the bird. "I'm thinking we should probably go over to where the ghosts are. I don't think we should get sidetracked by the Braviary's cry.... Something doesn't feel right over at the edge of the graveyard." She spoke to Maria as she began walking to where their destination was and truthfully, the ghosts might attack them too. At least, she was fully prepared to go on the attack should this happen.

Maria surveyed the gravesite now that she'd properly reached the destination. The whole place was filled to the brim with Ghost pokemon, floating about and crying out like they were having a party. Certainly peculiar behavior, to say the least. It was the piercing cry of another Pokemon that caught her attention though. She pulled out her Pokedex after the second time, the machine dinging after the third cry and identifying it as actually coming from a Braviary. The bunny-hooded trainer grimaced and looked down at Murder. The Sneasel was looking back up at her, a look of concern on his face as he shook his head and pointed toward the gravesite itself. "Sneasel!" It was as if he was telling her to just enter rather than follow the call. After Isolde spoke up, it seemed the the two agreed on how disconcerting the cry had been and whether to follow it or not.
"Yeah, something's... off. I dunno what, but we're better just finishing up here quickly I think." Maria gave her agreement and set forth into the gravesite with Isolde, her Yamask, and Murder.

You do the smart thing and avoid the sounds of the giant bird flying around somewhere. As far as 'smart' can be applied to walking through a ghost-filled graveyard, at least. But you're in luck, because they don't swarm you. A couple of stragglers do try their luck, though. Best to deal with them before more get the same idea. Bad news, they were spotted by two of the ghosts that seemed to be guarding some of the gravestones at least and it was probably a good thing that they were not swarmed by hundreds of them. The two ghost Pokemon as identified by the Pokedex were a Pumpkaboo and a Gastly. Majora seemed to want to challenge the pumpkin ghost to a battle and the pumpkin ghost nodded. "Majora, let's start with Shadow Ball!" The Yamask formed a shadowy blob of energy before shooting it at the pumpkin ghost, causing the Pumpkaboo to let out a painful wail. He then retaliated back with a barrage of exploding seeds which made Majora recoil in pain.
"Again, Shadow Ball!" Majora formed another shadowy blob of energy before shooting it at the pumpkin ghost, causing the ghost itself to wail in pain again. The Pumpkaboo retaliated with another barrage of exploding seeds, making the Yamask shake with pain. It was clear that the Seed Bombs were not hurting much, but it was enough to at least give a little sting to the ghost with the mask. "Once more, Shadow Ball!" With one final effort to form another shadowy blob, Majora shot the blob out of his hands and it landed a hit on the Pumpkaboo, prompting the ghost to wail out a painful cry before he slowly descended to the ground. The Yamask looked over to his downed opponent before looking at his trainer to see what she would do.
"Alright. You're coming with me now." She spoke as she took out an empty Pokeball and threw it at the downed Pumpkaboo, attempting to capture him.

Maria did not care for ghosts. And she didn't care for abandoned graveyards in the middle of the forest with a creepy bird and a bunch of partying ghosts. The things that people did for money. The bunny-hooded trainer sighed as she stepped through the graveyard proper with Isolde and the Pokemon. Amazingly enough, the ghosts didn't decide to go nuts and swarm them. At least that much could be counted as good fortune. But if the couple of cries that began to grow louder said anything, it was that a couple of Pokemon were coming at them anyways. A Pumpkaboo and Gastly as her Pokedex helpfully chirped. It seemed Isolde had her sights set on the big pumpkin-esque thing, so Maria settled for the ball of darkness and mist.
"Alright, Murder. Let's get this started with a Feint Attack!"
The Sneasel leapt into action, diving under the surprised Gastly before popping up with a swipe of it's claws in a surprise attack. His foe however was not as appreciative of this as his trainer. A ball of darkness formed as if from the murky air all about them, the Gastly manipulating it into a projectile as it launched out at Murder. The Sneasel however stood his ground, bringing his arms up in an x shape as the Shadow Ball connected. "Snea..." The Sneasel began to groan before whipping his arms outwards and the ball of shadow dissipated with minimal damage. "SEL!"
"One more time! Feint Attack!"
This time Murder began to come around with a right hook. The Gastly pulled away and in that instance, the Sneasel moved quickly by shifting it's feet, one foot in front of the other. With the sudden change in reach, his other arm flew out with claws seeking to claim to victory. The Gastly cried out in pain and fell back from the blow, hitting a tombstone before falling upon the ground.
"You're mine now!" Maria triumphantly announced before drawing out an empty pokeball and throwing it at the downed Ghost-type.

Congratulations! You successfully catch both the pumpkin spirit and the malevolent gas cloud. (Be sure to remove the appropriate balls.) With two less ghosts in the area, you're able to continue deeper into the graveyard. It doesn't take much longer to get to the grave in question. It's adorned with a number of flowers as well as a couple of flags, but more immediately you're able to figure out what's causing the disturbance among the native Pokemon of the gravesite. There are a lot of Rufflet around today. Like, seriously a lot. The sound of a Braviary overhead tells you that there's one of them nearby as well, but since you didn't go chasing after it you thankfully don't have to deal with it. And fortunately, most of the Rufflet disperse when you get close enough, but a few of them still want to pick a fight. They seem kind of agitated too, like you just interrupted something. Soon after the ghosts were taken care of, a squawk from a bird could be heard as well as another squawk. One squawk after another was proven to be where there was a lot of Rufflet at the grave where there was a lot of flowers….and birds. Luckily, the birds didn't swarm them much, but four of them decided to stay there and battle it out. The four Rufflet seemed to be agitated as if she and Maria had interrupted a memorial service for the fallen Braviary or something else entirely. "Majora, you can take a rest now." She spoke to the Yamask as she returned him inside his Pokeball. Then, she released both the sword and the seed outside where they seemed to be staring intently at the four Rufflet.
"Arthur, let's start with Iron Head! Galahad, use Curse to increase your offense and defense first!" The sword did what he was commanded to as he swung himself with his steel-hard blade, causing the first Rufflet to be knocked back by the attack. Galahad had just sat there, the dark energy seemed to slow him down, but it did increase his attack and defense by one stage. The first Rufflet flew into the air and hit the sword with his wing, but the attack was ineffective. The second one used his talons to slash at the seed, but to no avail. Galahad just blinked as it had made no dent whatsoever to his armored body.
"Again, use Iron Head! Galahad, use Iron Head as well!" Once again, the sword swung himself at the Rufflet with a steel-hard blade, causing the first Rufflet to be knocked back by the attack. Galahad slammed his steel-hard body at the second Rufflet, causing the second bird to squawk from the pain as well. The barbs that the seed left behind had made the second Rufflet groan in pain too. The first Rufflet flew into the air once more and hit the sword with his wing again, but again the attack was ineffective. The second followed suit as he flew into the air and with a blinding light towards the seed, managed to not make a dent due to Galahad's increased defenses.
"Let's keep this up. Once more, Iron Head! Galahad, keep using Iron Head as well!" Once more, the sword swung himself at the Rufflet with a steel-hard blade, causing the first Rufflet to squawk in pain again. The seed slammed his body at the second Rufflet, causing the bird to squawk about in pain as the barbs began to make it more painful to him. Flying into the air again, the first Rufflet attacked the sword with his wing, proving the attack to be ineffective towards the sword. The second Rufflet flew into the air as a blinding light began to surround him while he dive-bombed at the seed, but he was surprised that the seed was just standing there with a few dents and bruises.
"One more time, use Iron Head! Galahad, finish off the Rufflet with Iron Head as well!" The sword swung himself with a steel-hard blade as the first Rufflet was knocked away from the attack and fell unconscious. The seed slammed his body at the second Rufflet, causing the bird to fall onto the ground and lay there out cold. With the two birds taken care of, there was still two more for Maria to take care of as well.

The duo of young girls continued along on their trek through the graveyard. And even after the battle, the rest of the partying ghosts ignored the pair after all. However, it seemed their ordeal would not be over just yet. The grave of the Braviary they sought was right in front of them after a few more minutes, but so were a large grouping of Rufflet. The cry of the Braviary echoed out once more and this time it seemed to make far more sense than the last. It wasn't a malevolent ghost Braviary after all, just one that had appeared to mourn for the pilot. His own Braviary or something, perhaps? It'd certainly explain the large amount of Rufflet. Many of them soon fled as well, though four remained. Two faced off against Isolde's new duo she'd sent out and Maria didn't need to be told to follow suit.
Murder would still suffice against these birds with his Ice Shard and she knew just which of her Pokemon to send out to assist. "Go, Jaywalking!" She tossed the pokeball outwards and out came an Elekid, crying out it's name with a triumphant call. It even took that moment to pose as if it was showing off whatever muscles it had.
"Murder, use Ice Shard! Jaywalking, use Thunder Punch!" The combination of ice and electricity would be quite perilous to the pair of birds. First a large swathe of icy shards bit into them with a speed that startled the pair of birds. As they fell back from the barrage of ice, Maria's Elekid moved in to press the attack, a fist surging with electricity. One of the Rufflets squawked loudly in alarm, unable to dodge the attack heading straight for it. Instead it was sent hurtling back and out of the fight as it lay unconscious on the ground.
The remainder however squawked not in fear, but in fury. It leaped at Jaywalking with a wickedly sharp talon, raking it across the Elekid in a painful manor. "Don't give in! One more Thunder Punch!" Maria's Elekid roared in fury of his own, gaining a fist full of static as his free hand grabbed onto the Rufflet's outstretched leg. He brought it around in full force, smashing the surprised Pokemon with another winning shot, bringing down the second to join the first on the ground.
"Good work you two!" Maria then looked over at Isolde to see how she had fared. Seeing the other two Rufflet down, she nodded in satisfaction before looking at Isolde proper. "Well, that seems to be that. You wanna put the flowers on the grave? I'll keep a lookout for anything else joining us."

You beat up all the agitated Rufflets, forcing them to calm down through...well, force. They also seem to be unconscious, so calming down may never have entered into it. At any rate, with all the resistance downed, you're able to approach the grave. You could see that it bears a name that would be familiar to any aerospace history buff, along with the epithet of "The Lone Braviary", and is already adorned with quite a bit of memorabilia, including a very old photograph of the man in question, a prop plane, and his Braviary companion. That's not quite so 'lone' now that you think of it. Maybe in another world. You also might notice that the date of birth on the gravestone wasn't too long ago. Of course, you could also just put the flowers on the grave and ignore everything else about it. Either way: MISSION COMPLETE! Both of you get: 750 Credits and a Flying Gem
