Mining? No, Maria Harper would never do that. Or so she'd say some odd months ago. Maybe a year? She kinda lost track of time over the course of her trip around Aina. But regardless, here she was in the Fossil Cave and using a newly bought excavation kit in an effort to uncover something of value. She'd heard recently of someone managing to find a huge nugget of gold and achieve a hefty payout for it. Add onto that the possibility of finding Fossils of old Pokemon and really, there could only be a good result one way or another. Eventually though, she decided that enough was enough. Piles of rubble littered the ground and realized a more efficient way to clear them up in an effort to find something useful.
Releasing Murder from his pokeball, she then ordered the Sneasel to start using his Rock Smash move on the rubble. The large chunks shattered apart into smaller pieces, making it easier to search among what she'd managed to unearth.

Truth be told, the last time that Maria Harper had been down in the ever expanding tunnels of the Fossil Cave hadn't been very fruitful. True, the Stardust had sold for a tidy sum, but compared to the other things that were rumored to lay down here beneath the dirt earth and her mining tools, it was frankly kind of pathetic. Well regardless, there was goods to be found down here period and it was better than finding nothing. She'd knocked a good few rocks loose and onto the cavern floor. Releasing Murder from his pokeball, she set him off utilizing Rock Smash once more to help clear away the rubble.
