Alex let out a long yawn, he wasn't used to being out so late. After using the daylight to capture and train Pokemon he would try his best to get as much sleep as he could, get an early start the next day and go through the same schedule as always. It helped to keep things planned out sometimes, though this sadly, was his one and only last minute decision. "Starting to have second thoughts over this." Sadly it was too late for that. He had accepted yet another request from the mission board in the Pokemon Center. This time a member of the local police force asked of trainers to keep watch for some suspicious people at the construction site. It intrigued him and it seemed harmless to do so. After all if he was going to be in this region for an extended period of time it would be beneficial to be in the good graces of the regions law representatives.
He was waiting on his partner now. Another trainer had also agreed to this task, as it might be necessary to apprehend the suspects if they were to spot him or her. It frightened him a bit, after all he didn't have the aura or authority that most law enforcers in his novels carried. He almost felt it may be necessary for one of his Pokemon to assist in restraining them, and that was a scary thought. After all, his Pokemon had never been trained to do so, not like Police trained Pokemon. They could accidentally cause lasting damage, something he didn't want on his conscience. Alex sighed, perhaps he was biting off more than he could chew this time. "I'll just have to hope everything goes well." It might not have been a good idea to bring his egg along, but he couldn’t stand to leave the unhatched Pokémon in the hands of someone else. Egg:3/10

Akira's Team
Normally, one would think that Akira would be a bit too shy to take on something like this. And under normal circumstances, they would be right. However, the girl did have a rather strong sense of justice. So when she saw the bulletin from the police requesting aid from trainers, she couldn't help but volunteer. It seemed simple enough. She and another trainer would keep an eye out for anyone or anything suspicious and report it; or, if a direct confrontation becomes unavoidable, then they must ensure that whoever it is doesn't get away. Though she did hope it didn't come to blows, she was more than ready in case it did.
Either way, she ended up having a bit of a slow start while getting ready, so she was running a little behind. It wasn't too bad, though, she she still made it to the agreed-upon meeting place in time. Once she spotted Alex, she approached him. "Er...hello. I...um...I take it you're my partner for this?...if so, it's nice to meet you. I'm Akira." Like Alex, she couldn't bring herself to leave her Egg behind, so it was in her arms, in its protective case like before. If things got too rough, she'd just slip it into her backpack and it'd be fine.
