Kaitlyn sighed. She hadn't had much luck with finding a Riolu yesterday, so she was hoping to try again today. Blaze was currently trotting alongside the young teen, and Kami was in her normal spot on top of Kaitlyn's head. Charm had opted for her pokeball, and Hishui was currently in Kaitlyn's arms, clicking happily as she was carried around. She saw no Riolu, despite there being quite a few other pokemon around. She reached the spot where she fought the Mareep before. She giggled as she saw the ground still torn up by the battle yesterday.

Kaitlyn giggled as another Munchlax wandered across the path. Quite possibly the same one as yesterday. Smiling, Kaitlyn threw it a sandwich she had packed for lunch. She already had eaten, a traveller had cooked her a nice lunch so she didn't need it. She smiled and waved at the Munchlax who nodded towards her as he happily ate the sandwich before heading merrily on his way.

Blaze smiled and gave a happy yip at the Munchlax who walked away. Kaitlyn continued along the path, still looking for her Riolu. Kami happily rode on the girls head as she walked.

Kaitlyn heard a rustling in a bush next to her. A lilipup charged out of the bushes and began to lick her leg happily. Blaze yipped happily as she saw the lilipup. The two pokemon began to chase eachother playfully, bringing a large smile to Kaitlyn's face. Taking out her iPhone, the girl began to snap pictures of the two playful pokemon. Kami smiled as she watched her sister in all but blood chase around the puppy pokemon. After a bit, the two Pokemon broke away and the lilipup yipped a goodbye before he headed of towards another bush.

Kaitlyn groaned. "Another one?!" She said shaking her head. She really didn't want one, but it would be useful for a water gym and the flying gym she planned on challenging soon. Shrugging, she realized that she could release or sell the Mareep after the gyms. "Hishui! Bulldoze!" She called. The attack hit dead on, and down went the Mareep. Kaitlyn tossed a pokeball towards the fainted cotton pokemon with a small sigh. Not really caring if the pokemon was caught or not. As the ball shook, she could have sworn she heard the bushes rustle, but by the time she turned to look whatever was there was gone.

Kaitlyn smirked as she picked up the pokeball. "Now that's done. Come along you three! It's time for us to heal up Cotton and go and Challange the Flying Gym! You guys think we can do it?" She asked her pokemon happily.

Kami couldn't help but smirk. Summoning a Rain Dance, she glanced at a tree sitting a few feet away. She summoned a massive thunder to strike the tree, and when the dust settled, a charred log was all that was left.

Not wanting to be out done by the other starter, Blaze summoned a Sunny Day and shot a flamethrower towards a dead tree. The tree crumpled into ash after a few seconds. Kaitlyn laughed. "Ok then! Let's get Hishui Rock Tomb and go beat that Gym Leader to dust!" She cried happily.
