Kaitlyn grinned. She'd been hoping that the other trainer would do that. "Cotton! Use Light Screen!" She called. The Mareep nodded and renewed the Light Screen, giving him protection from the Thunder which would most definitely come nest. Kaitlyn looked up at the sky, the rain still pouring down. She was hoping to take the Chinchou out soon, since she had a plan. It mainly involved having Cotton use light screen and just using a ton of potions, but it still was a plan.
Summary: Cotton used Light Screen
Light Screen 1/5
(Ok Akari! I was doing it since Dylan was doing it. But I won't do it any more)

Dylan shrugged his shoulders when he heard the trainer command her Pokemon to use Light Screen again. Maybe, the female trainer wasn't aware that her previous Light Screen was still in effect. Either way, it wasn't going too much of a different in their battle now. "Alright Luca, now that the Mareep is a Water-type we should be able to paralyze it!" He grinned, shoving his hands into his pants pocket. "Luca use Thunder Wave!" Azure jolts of electricity danced around the Chinchou body before jetting towards the main target at great speed. Once the attack makes contact with the opponents body then it would cause the Pokemon to become paralyze. There would be a 25% chance that the foe wouldn't be able to make a move next, which would be perfect. The Aqua Ring also restored some of Luca's health.

Kaitlyn hissed. That wasn't good. She had an idea, but it would depend on if Cotton could tank a hit. She pulled out a potion from her back pack and sprayed it on Kami, giving her 20% health back. Suddenly, she felt one of her pokeballs shake and had to jump on top of Chikaria to stop the battle eager Riolu from charging at the Chinchou. He grunted, and shot a glare towards the Chinchou, sending a small feeling of anger at the opposing trainer. "Chikara! Stop that!" She said with a groan. Deciding there was no point in keeping the Riolu in his pokeball, she placed him on her shoulder.
Summary: Kaitlyn used a potion on Kami. Kami now has 30% health.

Dylan chuckled a bit upon seeing the sight of a what appeared to have been an eager Rilou escape from one of Kaitlyn's Poke Ball. It was quite entertaining how upset the Fighting Pokemon seem to have been with Chinchou and over the fact that it couldn't enter the battle right now. Maybe, if Kaitlyn had used it instead of using two electric types then she may have been in a better position right now. Then again, Dylan did have his Marill to help take out fighting types without too much of an issue. A smirk soon curved against his lips when he noticed the trainer use Potion this time. She seemed to have been determined to not use lose this match and in a such as a bit desperate to do anything to keep her Pokemon in the battle. Unfortunately for her, Dylan believed that all of her hard work would only go into vain soon enough. "Soak," he commanded out loud. The Chinchou didn't jetting forth another blast of water to change the Pokemon's typing. The next turn, he would probably plan to set up another Rain Dance. Even if the Light Screen was up, a powerful Thunder should still be enough to do the trick. The Aqua Ring restored some Luca's health.

Kaitlyn blinked. Shrugging, she turned to Cotton. The pokemon was still paralyzed, so it was a gamble for her. "Cotton! Use Light Screen!" She commanded. The electric sheep nodded and let psychic power roll off of his wool, forming a transparent screen infront of his side. Kaitlyn grinned. She could possibly win this still. Chikara grimaced, not that happy that his trainer was loosing. He really wanted to battle the Chinchou, wishing to knock it out to make it easier for the others. The Riolu waited on his trainers shoulder, a bit miffed he couldn't fight.

Dylan was a little surprised that Kaitlyn didn't switch out her Pokemon. He was even more shocked to see that her Mareep had managed to break through its paralysis status in order to create another Light Screen. A small chuckled later escaped from his soft lips. He would wait out this Light Screen too if he had to or he could just put as much damage on the Mareep and eventually get it out of the way and stop it from setting up anymore screens. It was also possible then he could start using physical attacks against her. "Now, use Rain Dance!" A brilliant blue light swiftly engulfed Luca's body as the little Chinchou started to preform another mystical dance in order to summon a rainstorm. It would boost his Water-type moves and even give his Thunder a flawless accuracy. The Aqua Ring surrounding his body also restored some of his health.

Kaitlyn blinked again. Using this opportunity, she called to the Mareep. "Cotton! Use Signal Beam!" She called. The Mareep nodded and fired a beam of pink energy at the opponent, hoping to at least confuse it. As the pink beam fired, a small shock wave passed through Cotton, the paralysis reminding Kaitlyn of its presence. Kaitlyn hissed. She needed to switch in sometime, and had an idea of when to do it. If she did switch, she would loose a turn, and whoever she switched too would take the attack. She could switch into Kami, but the Pikachu was still hurt.

"You've got this!" He called out to his Pokemon, encouraging the Chinchou to stand his ground. The Chinchou did just that, going into his defensive stance and taking the attack head on. As expected, the damage from the Bug-type attack was still rather minor. Luckily, Luca didn't get a confused by the attack. "You know what to do now, Thunder!" Luca smirked before sending forth a powerful blast of electricity down from the dark clouds. Although the Light Screen was still up, the powerful blast should be just enough to take the Mareep down or even the Pikachu if she decided to switch it in. If she decided to send in the fire-fox then it would also suffer from bit of damage and even if it didn't faint then it would be able to make a move and Luca would be able to blast it with a boosted Beam Bubble to finish it off. Dylan smirked, now he had the trainer right where he wanted her. Meanwhile, the Aqua ring healed some of Luca's health.

Cotton grunted as he took the hit. While the move was powerful, especially since his typing was changed, the light screen let him live. Barely. As he shook himself to somewhat relieve the pain, he winced as electricity raced through his body, electricity crackling with the paralysis. He was left with little hp to battle the Chinchou with, something that wasn't good at all. "Cotton! Hang in there!" She called. Trenching in her bag, she pulled out a potion to use on Kami, boosting the Pikachu's health up to 50%. If Cotton could wall a bit longer, she could have Kami up and ready to fight again, this using Focus Punch.

"Nice." Dylan smiled as he watched the Mareep struggle with its paralysis. The foe had appeared to be using her turn to heal up another Pokemon, which wasn't major issues because the Pikachu still wouldn't be able to do too much damage to the Chinchou. In order to use Focus Punch the Pikachu would have to waste a turn then strike, which would still give Luca enough time to inflict some damage onto its body. If Dylan was in her current position, he would have tried to inflict more damage on the "wall" instead of wasting turn to heal up another Pokemon. Especially, because the time wasted also gives Luca enough time to recover even more health from the Aqua Ring. "Let's finish this Mareep, use another Thunder!" He commanded and within seconds, the Chinchou summon another powerful blast of electricity from the darken skies.

And down went Cotton. Her wall was down, but she could take out the Chinchou with Kami. If she was fast enough that was. As the Pikachu made a reappearance, Kaitlyn decided on what to do. "Kami! Focus Punch!" She called. While it wouldn't hit this turn, it would definitely hit next turn. The Pikachu's left paw glowed slightly as the Focus Punch began to charge. Kaitlyn nodded to the other trainer, signaling that her turn was over. Chikara watched the battle with interest, silently vowing to pummel any and all Chinchou's he ran into.

"Hmm..." Dylan thought to himself as he watched the Pikachu start to charge up for a Focus Punch. Earlier, he did not believe that a simple Focus Punch would take out his mighty Chinchou. However, he was having second thoughts and wanted to make sure that he wouldn't make a mistake that would cost him to turn the water around in his opponent's favor. "Luca, you've done enough. Return. You deserve a small break." He smirked recalling his Pokemon then sending back out his Marill. Wade would be able to take a few Focus Punches before falling down in defeat and if his foe decides to use an Electric-type move then she'll already know what to expect from him next. The rain was starting to slow down a bit, letting Dylan know that it would be disappearing soon, but that wasn't too much of an issue right now. His Marill held a lot of physical strength even without it. Since Pikachu was already locked into an attack, Dylan wasn't worried about her switching out or ordering her Pokemon to change attacks.

Kami charged at the Marill, not really caring what pokemon she hit. As she charged forward, Kaitlyn frowned. The Marill was a powerhouse, as it had demonstrated with Charm. There was always the chance that even with that devastating play rough that it would become paralyzed. As Laitlyn mulled over what to do, a few things stuck out. The first one was why the Binacle hadn't made a reapearance, especially since it could do a lot of damage to Kami. As she pondered, she wondered what move the Marill would do next, hoping that it wasn't another Play Rough.

Dylan smirked as he watched his Marill absorb the attack without even flinching. "It's going to take more than that to make my Marill down. It has a lot of defense." He smirked even more, glancing over at his Marill and giving him a small nod. "Now, it's our turn. Wade, use Play Rough!" He commanded with another head nod. The Marill swiftly rushed towards the Pikachu, hoping to rough it up a bit. The Marill's body glowing a blinding white light as his Huge Power ability kicked into effect. The attack would be sure to cause a decent amount of damage to the Pikachu's body. He just hoped that Kaitlyn wouldn't have any more tricks up her sleeves. Only time would tell soon or later. It seem like the two of them have been battling forever and a day. He hoped that the battle would end soon or else he would become little crazy and even drained a bit.

Kaitlyn Ń knew the second the other girl called that move she was done for. Deciding to get one last shot in, she called to Kami. "Kami! Dodge and use Thunerbolt to counter!" She called. She prayed for two things. One, that the dodge would be successful, and two, that he wouldn't send out that evil Chinchou. Kami nodded and began her dodge attempt, wishing she was in Sinnoh where it was legal to use Quick Attck to dodge. Oh well.
Chikara was currently glaring at the Chinchou, attempting (and failing), to shove the Marill away from Kami with aura. Needless to say it didn't work. When he finally gave up, he decided that he was going to start a Chinchou hate club, because he was quite pissed off.
Summary: Kami attempted to dodge! If successful, Kami countered with Thunderbolt
Dodge attempt has 50% chance of working.
