While he does have a strong sense of justice, he's mostly just a massive show-off who enjoys showing everyone how awesome he is. As long as it doesn't interfere with his battling, Akira sees no reason to stop him.

He's not a bad guy once you get to know him, and he looks out for his friends. Just don't expect him to be very cuddly or open up anytime soon. As long as you're patient, he'll open up to you eventually.

Personality: Simply put, Mad Nautilus is a Pokemon who loves to fight. She'll jump at the chance to challenge a foe when it presents itself, and she'll always give it her all, not even knowing the meaning of the term "holding back". That said, even when she loses, she doesn't mind, strongly believing in the idea that there is always something to learn, even in defeat. The only true loser is one who gives up.

For obvious reasons, he also enjoys battling a lot more than he used to as well. He is eager to become even stronger, and reach his full potential.

Nevertheless, he is grateful to Akira for reviving him, and will forever be loyal to her for giving him another change at life.

He eagerly awaits the day that he can evolve, though he's not entirely sure of which Pokemon he wants to evolve into. Akira has decided to leave the decision up to him; they've got a ways to go before he's ready to evolve, so he'll have plenty of time to consider.
